Best Bull Horn
I bought this bullhorn for my teaching partner because we have another one just like it but it recently broke after a few years of heavy wear and tear. It it is still usable but not in the most sturdy of conditions so I bought another one. Now we have 2 and it is perfect. The bullhorn is not heavy. The sound quality is great and it is easy to use. Our favorite thing about this bullhorn is that the battery is rechargeable. We would definitely recommend this bullhorn.

Easy to use. Recharging is simple.
Works great! I use it to call the kitties to come home. It's the only thing they will obey.

A Must-Have for A Noisy Area
I work at a truck yard and this saves my voice. I used to have to speak over semi truck engines and brakes all day for 8 hour shifts. My voice chords would be miserable after a long day. This helps with safety and voice projection as the drivers can hear me much better. Handy for all situations, this is a wise purchase. You won't be sorry.

OK for the price
I was a little skeptical about this but the price was attractive. It does put out good sound, I am not sure it is really 40 watts of output. It does put out a decent sound. It is very tinny sounding. There were a few hiccups and some undocumented features that I needed to figure out. When I first received it, I charged up the battery pack. The led went from red to yellow, it did not turn green the way the directions said it would. Not sure if this is a problem with the battery or if this is normal, but it works. There is a short cord with a polarized connector to plug in the battery pack. The unit is also supposed to work from 6 C batteries, I have not tried it out yet with the C batteries. When I first turned it on, all it would do is produce a siren sound. After pushing the siren button the siren noise stopped and it then made a repetitive ticking sound. The red led on the upper right was flashing. I pushed the "play" button and the ticking sound stopped and now the bullhorn PA function worked when I talk into the mike. There are two red leds on the upper portion of the mouthpiece. There is no information on these in the instructions. The led on the upper left is the On-Off indicator. The led on the upper right is the Record-Play indicator. To record a message press "Record" and talk into the mike. To play it push "Play" it will repeatedly play the message until you press "Play" again to cease the function. For the price I am satisfied with the unit. It does have somewhat of a "toy" feel to it. It is definitely more lightweight than a famous brand 25 watt bullhorn that uses 8 c batteries which I have also used. This is easier to carry for extended use.

Still on first charge
I'm really happy with it. Sure, it doesn't feel like the highest quality product (handheld mic feels really cheap, rubber edge comes off pretty easily) but functionally it is awesome. I have had it for three weeks and am still on the first charge. I have used it for field games at a family reunion, calling my many little mormon kiddos to dinner without leaving the kitchen, and just for fun talking with someone up on the mountain that looked like a tiny speck to the naked eye. He said it was "crystal clear".The recording is cool cause you can basically put a ringtone-like snippet in memory to play anytime. I like that I can plug my iPhone into it too but haven't really found a good use for that yet, except to get better "ringtones".

Terrible Product
I brought this Item becasue of the Tours I do . It only used it 4 times and then it konked out. First the mike never worked Then the buttons started to malfunction. This perfomed like a Chinese product more then American. After getting the running around and anwsering questions i gave up and getting late replies.....its in the Garbage this morning

Rechargeable battery not working after only 4 months
Bought this megaphone for the rechargeable battery feature. Worked great for about 4 months, now it won't hold a charge. If I had written this review a few months ago, I'd say that it was a good value - great range, clear audio. But, the set up is odd - there is no place on the unit to 'hang' the microphone-it has to be hand-held. I was hoping this would last more than a few months-disappointed.
