If you're expecting them to smell exactly like the foods, you will be disappointed. The popcorn one smells like popcorn, but the other two are more sensual takes on the scents. Very feminine and alluring.

I think the price for the trio should have been closer to $15 considering the size and lasting power. However, this is one of my favorite scent sampler sets that Ive purchased. I ADORE when brands do the samplers/sets at an affordable price so that everyone has a chance to see what they like and really experience the brand. I always say its blasphemy that people dont have the option to buy a catalogue from places like Ulta/Macys/etc so they can see all the current perfumes that are available and at least get to smell them. Everything costs too much these days and there are a lot of people like myself who have physical health issues, or severe anxiety, etc that keeps them from going out and shopping. Testing things, smelling things, making those big luxury purchases. Not only is it unfair but its unwise and I think places should get on board with scent catalogues and make sample sets a regular thing! Besides all that... This trio came in glass bottles, which I appreciate, but if plastic bottles would have brought the price down a little more I would have been happy. When it comes to big bottles I would like for it to come in a nice glass bottle. When it comes to travel size, minis, samples, I'd prefer that the packaging was lowkey and affordable. The glass on these was a nice touch but with something that goes so fast, I would have preferred plastic for the sake of a slightly lower price. The spray nozzle was nice and sturdy though, had a nice thin mist. All of the perfumes were transparent when I got them, however the Le Soda Pop and Sucre De Coton have become cloudy (and the Coton shows some separation) but the scent has not changed. They're a great size for putting in your bag but I wouldnt throw them in their together or against other glass as the glass bottle on these is quite thin. As for the SCENTS. I purchased a full bottle scent (Pumpkin Creme) from this brand and was very unhappy, but my experience with THESE scents has been far more pleasant. I think the name of this trio is exceptionally fitting, I think the colors of the trio, names, and plain packaging are nice. I think they pack a punch when you first spray them and they do settle nicely, I think Sucre De Coton lasts the longest at least by a smidge. Id say these have a mid lasting power depending on your skin, maybe 3 hours on average. They DO last on clothes but the projection isnt much after that first hour but if you're in close proximity with someone they should be able to smell it for at least a few hours. I have chronic migraines and I personally did not get any headaches however I think its possible that some people MIGHT get a headache from Sucre De Cotton if a sudden punch of icy sweetness from a perfume TYPICALLY gives them a headache. I feel that the scent descriptions for the scents were remarkably accurate. Sucre De Coton (blue): Most definitely cotton candy, blue if I had to choose. Its combined with an icy sort of sweetness like cool whip. Its 100% gourmand but I do think it has a sort of sexy detached mistress vibe. Mais Souffle (yellow): FRESH hot popcorn. You're standing in line at a fair and just got a fresh bag. Its like a hot bag of perfectly cooked and perfectly buttered popcorn with high quality caramel drizzled on top. I would label it as a 6 on the gourmand scale (10 being the sweetest). You do get a bit of that salt but when it settles down that buttery, creamy, caramel. Theres almost a TOUCH of sandalwood at the base once it truly settles into the skin. Le Soda Pop (purple): This is like being at a fair for hours into the evening on a hot August night and finally stopping to get a drink, an ice cold vanilla coke in a bottle, twisting the lid and eagerly bringing it to your lips... Getting hit with that first shot of carbonation and vanilla coke dr pepper mix. In the description it says Dr Pepper and I do get that, but originally I got Vanilla Coke so I really cant decide, its a 50/50 split for me. I dont know how they bottled that icy carbonation but they DID. This is something fun and different, reminds my of the late 2000's early 2010's. It reminds me of Katy Perry and I suppose Lana Del Rey (if you really want to embody the song Cola). Its cold and sweet and seems to sweeten more on the skin. On the gourmand scale I would place it between the two other perfumes, so probably a 7 or maybe even an 8. If you love fairs or are like me and feel a strange so bond to fairs/carnivals, then this set is for you. It embodies the essence of fairs/carnivals, the smells and even the feelings. These perfumes can be layered, I've layered Sucre De Coton and Mais Souffle the most and I cannot help but relive my first time watching American Horror Story: Freak Show for the first time. If you love gourmand, you will enjoy this set. If you enjoy fun and interesting smells that arent overly complex, you will love this set. If you're a smell addict and appreciate the experience, the memories, the essence that smells bring to you then this would be a fantastic set to try. I am not sure if I will ever purchase a full perfume from this brand again considering my negative experience with Pumpkin Creme. With the price point the full bottle perfumes are at, paired with my bad experience, I dont think I would try another full bottle perfume unless it was sent to me for free to review. If I had a positive experience with one of their full bottle perfumes, I might be tempted to get the full bottle of Sucre De Coton or Mais Souffle. But as of right now, its unlikely. So I do love this trio and the scents, I didnt have a good experience with their full bottles so I'm unsure whether its truly the same/worth it... But I can at least say that this trio set is great despite the medium lasting power!

Maïs Soufflé is unique, buttery, and enticing while still smelling like a fragrance and not actual food. Sucre De Coton is very sweet, excessively so. It may layer well with others, but I don’t find it appealing on its own. Le Soda Pop has a strong cola smell. It’s a heavily spiced scent that doesn’t personally agree with my skin, but if you like cola scents, it might be for you

First of all, I am a gourmand stan. I only wear gourmand perfumes so I decided to try this sampler. This is my first purchase from Le Monde Gourmand. I had high hopes for this set. Unfortunately, these scents do not last long on my skin. Honestly, it was almost laughable. I tried each scent by spraying them on my wrists and the scent would dissipate in under two minutes. I also tried spraying them on tester strips and the scent lasted a little longer. It may be my body chemistry or my skin type? I know sometimes sample bottles have a weaker staying power - would a full size perfume have more staying power? Le Soda Pop and Maïs Soufflé were my favorites. Absolutely yummy solo and together. If the scent lasted longer on my skin, I’d love to wear them together on my next movie date! Sucre de Coton didn’t smell as cotton candy-like as I was hoping - it’s a more airy delicate scent when I was expecting a heavier sugary smell. I will try a full size from this brand before I move on - sometimes full size bottles have more staying power. But maybe this won’t work for my particular body chemistry. Hoping for the best because I really enjoyed these scents!

Impressive! First of all it came super quickly! I was rather shocked that it was waiting in my post office. Secondly all three smells are very lingering strong and lasting! The yellow one smells almost exactly like cherosa71. It is super Gourmand a little popcorn..buttery and carmally absolutely delicious! Cotton candy one is really sweet like cotton candy with some really beautiful perfume mixed with it. It's not like your Walmart Bodycology type it's an Elegant perfume with cotton candy mixed. And the soda one, oh my goodness, the first smell is like a flat soda with the carbonation taken out, and when you spray it...it sprays to this very beautiful spicy Dr peppery smell that's amazing! I really didn't think I would like this one but I absolutely love it! To me it's more of a cold weather scent as the other ones could be all year. Don't skip this Trio by them!
