Don't buy this radio if you need it for its battery option.I returned battery pack because it wouldn't charge, only to be contacted by the seller to inform me that it was okay and that the radio was faulty. Took 3 weeks to get a replacement that wasn't even boxed. I had to fork out over £7.00 postage that wasn't refunded. The seller enclosed extra instructions on how to charge the battery, stating it would operate for 10 hours on a full charge, make that 6.5 hours.Two nights ago I press the off switch, the radio switched off but the lcd panel remained lit. I could not turn the radio back on, had to removed the battery pack to get the panel light off. I reconnected the radio to the mains only to find that all my presets had been lost. Feel like throwing the useless thing in the bin.

Very good sound quality. However battery size is small and hence lasts only about 8hrs on full charge.Returned as not suitable for a portable radio.

This item is well built and functions well too. It is easy to operate and gives a good clear DAB sound through its adequate speaker. The various operating buttons are well defined and there is a feeling of a quality build here. I would reccomend this as a quality mid-priced DAB radio.

I got this just to have music in various rooms around the flat and it works a treat. There's great choices from the DAB stations. The sound quality and volume is really good for such a compact unit. As well as at home I've taken it on weekends away and camping - the benefits of a portable radio! Simple but effective.
