Awesome results
I was not pleased with the results of the Yamation glitter DTF film with a different powder. This powder adheres to the Yamation DTF film perfectly. Colors came out vibrant and the design still looks good after washing.

Works as it should.
This powder works exactly like it’s supposed to and gets the job done. I used it for the dtf hack and had no issues. It’s a very fine powder so it can get messy, just cover the area you’re working on with craft paper or a plastic drop cloth and you’ll be fine.

Much experimentation for the DTF sublimation hack with Epson SC-F100 and HTVRont autopress
It has been a frustrating experience to do the sublimation DTF hack with Yamation film and powder - I went through about 25 sheets of film trying to get it to work (argh!). For anyone else frustrated with streaks/roller marks on their film, I found that I could change the print density by going to the Maintenance Tab (of my Epson SC-F100) and selecting Extended Settings. From there, I dragged the slider to the left so it was around -25%. This eliminated most streaking for me. If a design has a lot of black in it, maybe go even more negative with your number. If a design doesn't have much black at all, then go for a smaller negative number. I can get away with about -5% for an image with little to no black. Other things that might work for you are to choose the Rigid profile, or to choose Standard quality. But I use the Textile profile and high quality and then reduce the print density as described.I bake my powdered design at 385 degrees for 2 to 3 minutes on the bed of my HTVRont auto press. Obviously, I don't bring the press down, but just let it hover. Because it is a few inches above, it takes more than a minute. Because the sublimation ink has already been activated through this process, it isn't necessary to press the design at such a high temperature as you would with sublimation. After having conquered the problems with streaks, I then went about experimenting with pressing times, temps, and pressures. Following the recommendations on the package for temps and times did produce a nice result on the shirt, but the designs were degrading quickly upon washing. After a bunch of further experimentation, I found that I needed to do a higher temp and higher press time in order to have the design really adhere and last through washings. I think the success of this whole process really depends upon your equipment - basically your press and your printer and your ink. Be prepared for problems in figuring it out. Now that I HAVE figured it out for my setup, I do like the products and will continue to use them. But boy oh boy, was this a struggle to get it right!Note that for the Epson SC-F100, I do NOT need to apply the film to a piece of paper with tape, as others would tell you. It feeds right through my machine with no issues as is. If you have a different printer, your experience may be different. For anyone who has the HTVRont auto press trying to do this hack, put a pressing pillow beneath your garment to trick the press into applying more pressure. Also, for me, I need to press at 345 degrees for 45 seconds to get a good result and to get the design to last through washings. I do NOT do a second press with a teflon sheet on top as others recommend. This tends to remove ink and degrade the design in my experience. I find that after the first washing, the design feels more "embedded" into the fibers as it would if you did a second press anyway.

Great for DTF printers - do not try to use this with regular prints on inkjets
This powder is only for use with DTF printers. Do not use it with inkjet prints from a sublimation printer because those printers lay down the ink differently and do not have the capability to do the white ink overlay unless its converted to a DTF printer. I was a dummy and tried to use it on a regular sublimation print on PET film on a non-converted printer and all it did was make the image darker than it already was.

You won me over
I’m just starting the whole sublimation process and I’ve had some hits and misses. While watching a good amount of YouTube videos I notice people using the Yamation film and powder. I have used it on several different projects and all the results were amazing. But this one here was a valentine’s sale for a friend who didn’t want it free. She saw the design and said she’ll buy 2. Let me just say when I peeled the corner and saw a small piece I had to call my daughters up to see it before I took the whole thing off. It came out exactly as I wanted it to and looks absolutely amazing. I will definitely be using this product from now on.

Love this!
This product works awesome with the dtf paper. I used my epson inkjet printer to print on the dtf paper, then sprinkled this on. Colors are vibrant and washes very well in cold water and hang to dry.

Outstanding results!
The media could not be loaded. I bought the powder & the dtf film from this company. I was sceptical as i thought it couldn’t possibly work as well as advertised. Amazon dropped it off a half hour ago & I got stuck straight into it. Yes I was sceptical but also a little excited at the possibility of no longer having to muck around printing & cutting on vinyl for sublimation on cotton t-shirts. Well, I did a little happy dance at the results on the very first try. Started the video after I’d already started to peel a little bit. The white parts are meant to have no ink due to image reflection. It an absolute winner & I’m so chuffed with it. Now to give the t-shirt loads of washes to see how well it holds up. But at the moment very good colours transferred, very soft feel & very stretchy. 😁

Dtf powder.
Great stuff. Kind of expensive for powder but works great with dtf transfer paper. I just wish it had a resealable bag. Had to put in a container with lock tight lid so it didn’t clump up or get moisture in it
