Michigan Waterproof Nylon Hip Waders for Fly/Coarse Fishing Size 9

purchased these, because of the price, ordered size 10 (UK) so the boot part fits well, however the height of the boots are appx 37 inches on both the outside and inside leg, I only require 29 inch inside leg, so a bit too long in the leg for me, the wellington boot height is appx 14 inches. As mentioned in other reviews the width of the top of the waders (thigh) is a bit tight if you have large thighs. Also the ankle part of the boot is quite flexible so not sure if you could walk great distances over very rough ground. Having said all this if like me you are looking for a good price waders for say power washing you patio/driveway or retrieving a model boat or pond cleaning then these are probably just right for you. Another thing to mention they are made of waterproof nylon and therefore will not be breathable and will probably lead to a build up of sweat on the insides, I was aware of this before purchasing. For me these will suffice for the 2-3 times this year that they will be required, when I need to give the patio/driveway a good clean. I have also not managed to locate the manufactures website to try and find any instructions on care/maintenance, did contact retailer but only suggestion they could give was to search for any suggestions on "nylon waterproof cleaning"

Read comments about size of thighs on the waders, so ordered a shoe-size larger to ease "slipping-on". Foot size is fine and easy to put on (so that worked!), and waders go over my thighs with no problem and feel comfortable. Used already to get into our pond for getting rid of duck-week etc. ... completely waterproof, and sole gave good grip. Can thoroughly recommend ... especially for the price!

I'm a keen amateur photographer and wanted a basic, cheep pair of waders to allow me to access shallow rivers, lakes wetlands to take the photographs I couldn't take from the riverbank and waterside. Thigh waders fitted the bill, the price was right and previous reviews were generally positive. They have proven to be a good purchase. The boot shoe size is true to my shoe size (8), and the fabric of the leggings is durable. I would agree with previous reviewers that the leggings could be a little looser around the thighs and a little shorter o the inside leg. I'm a n average 75 kgs in weight and 175cms inn height. Overall a good purchase and a satisfied customer.

A bit smaller than expected and the upper fabric is really long and needs cutting down. Plus if you are short and chunky like me they are tight at top of leg. Luckily I am a seamstress so altering the fabric is a pretty simple task. Would have been better if they were wider in the leg section as we are not all super model thin. I’ve given four stars because they are water tight and well made. The boot fit is smaller than expected I am a size six but based on other reviews I bought a bigger size and I am glad I did.

I'm not sure how robust these would be with constant fishing use, but they work OK for me wading into the pond to clear weeds. That said, I don't need a belt with my trousers, so had to wear one just to loop the hold-up tabs over, no problem. I found the top of the boots pretty snug on my calves, more so than my usual wellie boots, but do fit - I think I will have to be carful not to tug on the nylon tops to get the boots on or they my tear away.

First try-on and found boot and sole is very thin had to put a thick insole into the boot to make it comfortable, secondly the length of the legs is too long, probably better fit for people over 6’6” tall with thin legs. Thirdly when I took them off after a couple of hours fishing my trousers had a terrible smell on them which came from the waders material, had to give my trousers a good wash to get rid of the smell. Still the waders did do the job and kept me dry.

I have put these waterproof hip waders to another use, having got soaking wet when jet spraying block paving these seemed ideal protection and are. Well made and sturdy the boot comes well treaded and the strap to allow the belt to pass thru' is a bonus

I liked the fact that the waders are of a very light material, fully waterproof as expected. However if you are like me and have big thighs then they will be too small. For me just using them for cleaning out my pond they work but for fishing then no. Pity it would help if they put the top circumference of the waders in the sale details.
