Our coconut bowl is hand-crafted from real coconut husk in Vietnam. Outside, the coconut husk is polished to reveal the shiny brown color of coconut wood. Inside, it is a picture of a coconut island (or you can imagine it is Hawaii) that our artisans spent hours to make. The coconut trees, the boats, moon and stars the bowls are all cut by hand from mother of pearl pieces, and inlaid with great dedication on the pink lacquer background. Every details of the coconut trees and the boat is also drawn by hand. The drawing is simple but it is enough to create a harmonious picture of a peaceful tropical island under the gentle moon. This bowl can be used to decorate the wall or a flower bowl on the table. It can also be a candy bowl or a plant pot. Please do not use it on stove tops, microwave. Don't use it to hold hot liquid.
