Reusable Silicone Food Bags & Mesh Produce bags

This is a nice set of silicone storage bags and mesh produce bags. It's hard to tell from the pictures but you get 2 each of 3 different sized produce bags and they have the tare weight on a little sewn in tag which was a nice touch. The bags seem to be durable and well made. And the 3 sizes are convenient. I've just started using silicone storage bags and I will say they are much nicer than trying to stuff a sandwich in a fabric bag with Velcro like we did 5-6 years ago in an attempt to use less disposable bags. These seem to seal well and easy to throw in a lunch box. They don't seem to stay open while trying to fill them but I'll figure out a workaround for that. Looking forward to seeing how well they freeze. Seem much sturdier than disposable freezer ziplocks.

I have used the silicone bags and the mesh bags for about two weeks. I’ve been totally satisfied with both products. I had wash all my dishes and dry in a rack, so I had no problems with either washing or drying. A clean, dry dishcloth can be scrunched into the opening if it doesn’t stay open while drying. I thought I would dislike using the plastic sealer, but I find it easy to use IF I follow the enclosed directions. I didn’t rate leak proof, since I haven’t tried to make them leak, but with the closer on, I can’t imagine how they could possibly leak. I will buy an additional set, so that I have enough for my needs.

Like: reusable, great lid - does not leak, fits in my backpack, works in microwave at work, does not make food taste "funny," comes in different sizes (sandwich is used most for leftovers; anything bigger is for marinating), saves the environmentNot like: hard to clean (even in the dishwasher - the bottom end collapses and the food in the corners does not get cleaned), hard to dry, does not easily stand open like described (it can do it, but you have to force it open and pray it stays that way when you pour something in).

It was HARD to get the slider off the bag at first. A male had to do it. Once it was off, I filled with water. I kept trying to close the top like a zip lock. NOT. Put the slider thing over it. MAKE SURE you get the slider thing ALL the way over to the other side or it will leak. Once I figured that out, it didn't leak. It stands up on the counter with water in it. There's no sense that it will topple. I left it upside down in the kitchen sink all night with an item pressing on it. No leaks. They are quite large, and for that reason, I ended up not being able to use them. They need to make these in smaller versions. There are 2 large and 2 medium sizes.You WILL build up the muscles in your hands trying to get that slider off, every time.The veggie bags that come with? 3 different sizes and 2 of them are HUGE. What do the Chinese think we eat anyway? The big ones would fit the entire 'spring mix organic' box of greens from Costco. Two more are 2 inches smaller and 2 more are 2 inches smaller. Could use the big ones as laundry bags. But the smaller ones will fit fresh cherries nicely.

I have been trying to reduce my plastic use for the past few years and these bags are perfect! At first, I had a little trouble with the closing slider, but after a couple of times I got it right! Now it's super easy. I like how the bottoms flatten out, so they stand on their own. So much less room used in the fridge/freezer, than with traditional plastic ware, whose lids I can never get off!I used them for storing the leftovers from an opened olive can and not one drop leaked out!If you're environmentally aware as I am, you'll love these!

Such a disappointment. Most of the bags were stuck together in the bottom and wouldn't open or stand up as advertised. When trying to open the bottom. That was stuck together it ripped apart. I thought it was a good idea but these are not good quality products.

These are a great replacement for buying plastic ziplock bags. They clean very easily and stay sealed even with liquid. The mesh produce bags help keep fruits and vegetables fresh in the fridge. The zipper parts are not as easy to open and plastic bags, but it keeps the seal very well. They seem to hold up well so far. Will be ordering more of these.

The media could not be loaded.  I was very skeptical when I ordered these if they could handle liquid well. Figured worse case I'd use them for storing chips and cut fruit. Filled one up with water when I receieved them and shook the thing to death. Not a single leak! I couldn't believe it. Ziplocks would have broken open as hard as I shook this thing. Left it full on counter for a few days and then shook it hard upside down again. Still not a single leak!I'm really impressed. We frequently use ziplocks to make ice packs and without fail they always leak and leave a mess. I love using these to keep ice in my small cooler and there's no wet mess in the bottom at the end of the day!You do need to pay attention to how full you fill them if you're using them for liquid like soup or broth. You'll end up with a geyser trying to get the clip on if you over fill them (whoops!)I would absolutely buy these again.
