I had some Blue Monkey bluetooth sports headphones from Tony Pryce sports and they’ve been great. I tried searching Blue Monkey and came to this speaker. The inclusion of the 2gb memory card swung it for me and I haven’t been disappointed. l loaded around 150 MP3 files and it’s not even half full. Can’t see me needing any more as that’s loads. Shame it doesn’t have a random play feature, but hey - can’t have everything. The sound is really good and I can see me buying this as a pressie for friends as it’s so good for the price. I was checking out Spotify on my phone and it worked well and I even watched a Netflix movie on my iPad with great sound for a change.I don’t usually think of writing a review, but happy to spread the word as It’s a good product and a cheeky monkey badge on the front of the speaker.

This product arrived promptly and had a UK postmark which is nice as opposed to so many Amazon products of this type arriving directly from China! It paired easily to my phone and then my tablet and then really surprised me at how good the sound is. Even at maximum volume it was clear without any distortion at all. It came with a 2GB micro SD card and I was intrigued to download some music and see how it worked. Bingo! Amazingly clever - why doesn’t anybody else do this!Quite frankly this machine is better than my partners Beats Pill which was hugely expensive (as I bought it) and much more useful with the microSD card. He’s now using the Aux-in connection on the Funkpod for his old iPod which doesn’t have Bluetooth - all the cables were provided by the Blue Monkey people.Get one. They are a bargain!

This sounds great and really quite powerful for a small machine. I love the ability to use it as a speakerphone when connected to my phone. It took me by surprise when an incoming call interrupted the music i was listening to, but pressing the telephone symbol button connected me instantly to the caller. Clear and easy. I also like the simplicity in moving tracks along by using the speakers right shift button. It also doubles up as the volume control which is neat and works by pressing and holding it down. I can see this speaker getting a lot of use - it’s in my bag for holidays as it’s quite light and rechargeable using my iPhone plug.Must say I like this product and may even load some tunes onto the memory card that’s in the box.

Love this little bit of kit second one for me" I broke the first one accidentally" and bought a replacement straight away, wish we had things like this when I was young ,great sound and the micro sd card slot is a bonus .

easy to reach controls, small but with ample sound not too much base, a nice unit.

Great little speaker, & the fact you can put your own music on the micro sd card is an added bonus, as there's no need to worry about blue tooth distance away from your music source.

Have used this a few times. The sound quality is fine although it could do with allowing slightly more volume.

Great product - very easy to use. Nice and light to go in my suitcase and great sound. Haven't tried the handsfree function yet so can't comment on that but looking forward to trying it out soon.
