- Honeysuckle climbs with thin, twisted, woody stems. Oval leaves are arranged in pairs along the stem, dark green above and paler beneath. Flowers are long tubes with petals that curl open at the tip to expose the stigma and stamens. They are creamy white or pale yellow, often tinged pinkk and are arranged in a circle at the tip of the shoot. Fruits are small clusters of red berries.
