10 drives, no failures. Great product!
I bought 10 of these guys for a TrueNas setup (3 pairity and 7 live). These guys simply worked at a great price. If you need some inexpensave stable drives, this is a great choice!

Great deal on great drives.
I was initially unsure about purchasing used drives to fill my NAS with however after some research I found this seller to be reputable in their testing and warranty so I took a chance on these HGST 10TB drives for the price. They are certainly noisy enterprise grade drives so you probably won't want to install them into a desktop PC but if you do, the seller helpfully included a SATA power adapter to use to circumvent the PWDIS enterprise feature that will otherwise stop the drive from spinning on a non-enterprise system.Seller also included a warranty card and lots of information sheets, overall I have a very good feeling about them and all 5 drives I purchased are fully working without any SMART errors. Drives were very well packaged as well and exactly as described.I'll update this review on the warranty process if I have a drive fail within 5 years but I'm feeling confident I'll be taken care of in the event.

Work out of the box without any issues for months now
I would buy again. I have over 20 of these drives now. Used in a Plex server with 4 USB Drive Enclosures (Syba purchased here /8 drives each w room for expansion) JBOD (replaced my OEM drives that I use for backups stored in a case @ 3 years old (since Bluray Discs cost so much now- this is my new backup method). This is more economical. OEM drives are off-line, and these "used" drives are my production data drives. flawless thus far. I have a little over 180TB of movies, TV, and Music stored with open bays on the Enclosures to purchase and drop new drives. Since I replace the drives (in the past every 3 years) this should work nicely for me. One OEM for backup and One of these used for live data. Should be fine for my uses, and has worked out great for me so far. A lot easier than all of these blurays and folder storage for them! Saves me space and money. Time will tell if this works for 3 years of more.UPDATE: 4 months 24/7 operation without a hitch. Drives remain fast and have had no issues whatsoever. All purchased from DBSKY here on Amazon. I check the drives and see if the seller is still available every month. Very happy. Ill continue to update! I suggest a purchase of these drives. I am very happy myself.

2nd drive - no issues yet
I just received my 2nd 10Tb drive (Dec 2023). 1st 10Tb drive I ordered was back in Jan2023. Both drives are working well & both are about 5yrs old (see pictures). The Seller is responsive to questions/inquiries and have confirmed the 5yr Warranty on these drives. The Drive comes "unallocated" so it will not show up on File Explorer (windows) - make sure to run Disk Partition app 1st, format & create a partition and the drive can be used normally. The 1st drive I ordered was lucky to survive the UPS delivery, the box was not pretty to look at. The 2nd drive was delivered by Amazon and the box/packaging is in good condition when received.I've been using the 1st drive as an offline backup for 11mos and I will be using the 2nd drive for Media Streaming attached to DIY RasPi4 NAS. I'm hoping both drives will function with no errors for many more years. My oldest regular Seagate drive is over 15yrs old, no errors yet (knock on wood) so I'm hoping these 5yr old HE10 Enterprise drive will last just as long if not longer if used with care.So far I haven't received a bad drive from this seller so I will definitely order again if I need more backup & media space.

Be aware, these are heavily used drives - EDIT 1 drive link failure on seek
I got two of these to serve as a mirrored bulk data storage, even with how much these were used it should still serve alright for this. For anyone interested SMART reported mine as ~6.3 years use ~3PB write ~4PB read. After about two weeks of use doing mostly read one of the drives has started to lock up on seeking.Unless this was damaged when shipping which is unlikely as it was well packed I imagine these drives are probably close to dead. The replacement instantly had checksum errors on adding it to my zfs raid. For folks who are dropping this into a system without file system / partition protection your data could be corrupted and you won't know with these drives. This is not excusable by shipping damage like my previous issues with the last drive, I doubt these have been tested at all other than maybe checking the SMART stats.I'm returning these, going with two new Seagate BarraCuda 8TB instead, its an SMR drive but for my use that's fine.

Excellent budget drive for media or server
I have had this drive in and running for about 6 months now. I use it for my Jellyfin server. 10TB for $70 and has a 5 year warranty... you just can't beat that.

Tons of space need to order more soon.
Currently using this in a NAS system with DD-wrt. Tons of space and plenty fast for keeping up with data transfers. It is very important to use the power cable included with this drive or if you know how to cut the orange wire or the 3.3v wire or the one that is closest to the DATA cable connector when plugged in. Some manufactures did this to prevent people from buying cheap external drives and using them inside a PC instead. This was one way to lock them out. Which someone figured out its the 3.3v power wire if connected will prevent the drive from being detected. Been using this drive for 6 months now and no issues. Planning on replacing the 2TB drives and the 4TB in the NAS system for this 10TB for even more space.

Purchased 2 units, one failed after 6 months of light NAS usage.
Purchased two of these last summer to use tandem in a RAID-1 array. When purchased they were already at four and a half years of power on hours. I was hopeful about them, but one failed after 6 months of very light use. They were quiet spinning up, reading, and writing, but those are the only the good things I can say about them. I will see if the seller stands behind the 5 year warranty they promised.I should note, the NAS I used these in had proper cooling, and the drives never went above 38 degrees.
