Product Description DVD Special Features:X-Men 1.5 trailer X-Men 2 trailer Daredevil trailer DVD Technical Information: Language: English Subtitles: Hard of hearing English, French, Italian, German, Swedish, Dutch Aspect Ratio: 1.33 FF (4 x 3) Sound Quality: English 2.0 Mono Feature running time: 90 minutes approx. .co.uk Review Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno, stars of the late-70s, live-action television series The Incredible Hulk, cap a run of sporadic TV movies based on the old show with Death of the Incredible Hulk. The gloomy title says it all. Bixby's Dr David Banner, spiritually exhausted after years of rage-induced transformations into a snarling green monster, takes a last stab at finding a cure by posing as a retarded janitor in a government-funded research laboratory. His secret collaboration with a scientist (Philip Sterling) on "killing" the Hulk's genetic viability goes awry when a gorgeous foreign spy (Barbara Tarbuck) disrupts a crucial procedure and invites the wrath of brutal terrorists, the federal government and, yes, the big man (Ferrigno) himself. With death chains rattling in the background, various ironies in the story become poignant: after years of isolation, Banner finds friendship and love just in time to risk it all for a lasting peace. --Tom Keogh

What a finale!
Considering this film is over 13 years old, the storyline and effects have you gripped. For those that have seen the previous films such as "The Return of The Hulk" and "The Trial of The Hulk" and were probably disappointed, all I can say is "third time lucky" really applies to this film.David Banner{played by the late Bill Bixby}, plays a not so bright janitor for a science lab, in the hope of getting close to a scientists experiment, that will finally rid him of his alter-ego.But all does not go as smoothly as planned, as terrorists hi-jack the projects findings and David Banner is forced to help. This film has plenty of action and good old fashioned love, but be warned, Lou Ferrignos brilliant performance as "The Hulk" will have you reaching for those tissues.

Great viewing
So glad you can still obtain these special dvds, this is from the original hulk series i believe this was the last that was shown.Bill Bixby a good actor stars as Dr David Banner exposed to radiation poisoning and when he gets angry hence he always says " You wouldn't like me when I'm angry " then he turns into the giant green monster The Incredible Hulk - Lou Ferringo. He is a gentle giant really only protecting justice for mankind. This one is a bit sad as The Hulks life comes to end and Dr David Banner is finally free.Poppy's verdict- This is the end of a fantastic journey and series of the Incredible Hulk it is worth watching over and over again I'm glad that i purchased it.

Series closure - Spoilers in review
The Death of the incredible Hulk is the last of 3 TV movies that were made in the late 80's - early 90's. This last outing for Bill Bixby and Lou Ferigno is a pretty cheaply made TV movie and doesn't really have a lot going for it in terms of production value and story, there were far better episodes of the TV series than any of these 3 TV films. What is good about this though is that there is finality to the story, yes the Hulk does die and so does David Banner, after falling from a plane sans parachute even the strength of The Hulk isn't enough to save Dr David Banner and he dies in a moving scene at the end.Ironically another 2 TV movies were planned after this, so it is unclear how they would have proceeded with the story if The Hulk and Banner died, i guess we'll never know.Sadly though these further adventures never came to pass due to the untimely and tragic death of Bill Bixby aged 59 in 1993If you want some classic Hulk in your collection then go with the series as it is generally better than the 3 TV movies produced afterwards.

Brilliant film but sad 😞
Always been a fan of the Hulk so bought this to complete my set , love Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno was magnificent as the Hulk. Not ashamed to admit that I cried at the end of this film, it was the end of an era and the end of the Hulk saga. HighlyRecommended but keep tissues handy.

PAL vs. NTSC
Ordered to complete a collection, this item arrived fast and fine in Canada. I bought it to play on my PC which is region free. .Buyers from Canada should be aware this is REGION 2 or PAL, where we are REGION 1 or NTSC. Regular set top disc players will not play them. Have a plan and you'll be fine.

Not The Ending We Deserved, But The Ending We Needed.
The third television film, which sadly served as the conclusion to the show due to a planned fourth installment being cancelled because of disappointing ratings for this adventure, is good, but it would have been nice to have Kenneth Johnson involved, and therefore, his idea for the series finale used, which was never written, due to the abrupt cancellation of the series. The only drawback is that the famous Lonely Man theme, written by Joe Harnell for the television series, which plays over the end credits, is too fast towards the conclusion of the piece. For the first and only time in the franchise (as starring Bill Bixby), there is a brief discrete scene of fornication, and a few frames of a woman interrupted while taking a shower, but nothing is shown. The violence is not graphic, and profanity is limited to a few hells and damns. There are subtitles, which is a major upgrade from the first two continuation films. Shame that Jack Colvin stepped away from acting due to suffering a stroke shortly after filming his scenes for The Incredible Hulk Returns, with his last film appearance being as Doctor Admore in Child's Play. The Death Of The Incredible Hulk is Not Rated.

Last of a good series
Too bad it was the last of a good series, but nothing lasts forever.I used to haunt the stores for the different series I liked, but now I'm slowly becoming a regular here on Amazon.ca for getting them.
