I discovered these dog cookies by accident, and I'm so glad I did! While most dog cookies seem to be large and thick, meaning I need to break them in pieces if I want to be able to give my dog lots of treats in the course of a day, these cookies are small and thin - the perfect size for small dogs. The shapes of waffles, bacon and eggs are adorable (not that my dog really cares), they smell very fresh, the ingredients are wholesome and my dog absolutely loves them. So what's not to love here? I just ordered two more bags:)

The positive thing with these treats is you get what appears to be well over100 little pressed breakfast items. They are little waffle shapes, Slab of 3-PC bacon shapes, and egg shapes (a little blurry I had to look at the package to see fried egg). Buster likes them, as they have a definate scent of maple syrup. I like the creativity of that within a breakfast themed doggie treat.. very cute treat for smaller dogs. They are larger than a training treat, but smaller than many years for 20-lb dogs. I think we would all like treats to be smaller, rather than so large that your pup is all filled up before dinner.

I get Blue Dog Bakery "Doggie Paws" for my doggy. She loves them. I noticed this flavor & grabbed it. My dog loves these, too. She gets super excited when she sees me get one out for her, wagging her tail & drooling like crazy. They are inexpensive, too. A real favorite!

Call it having a persnickety dog or what have you, but our little Shih Tzu and her cousins, also little Shih Tzus didn't care for these. Not the fault of Blue Dog Bakery, just little picky stinkers. They would politely take one and them go and place it on the rug. Later on, the bigger of the dogs would go and nicely eat them all. I don't know if the spoiled things were wanting some fresh baked chicken or what, but they didn't care so much for these. I'll try again later on to see if they change their minds.
