Struggled to find ones like this is stock anywhere! Others we have had the usb stops working. This one has been good - no issues.

Very smart looking and have a quality build, faceplate can be a bit tricky to fit if the walls are not perfectly flat however so just be aware of this, just a shame there's no higher output USB version or a USB C as 2.1amp is a bit behind the times., do the job though.

These look great but unless all your walls are perfectly straight and level, the clip on covers will not 'clip on'. This was a real pain as we spent over £200 on new switches.

Prising the cover off of the non- screw facing plate was a bit fiddle especially as you need to be careful not to damage it. Ok when fitted

Ordered this Schneider double socket to replace the usual standard double switched socket. The original cavity wall backbox was 25mm. I had to remove that and replace it with a 35mm cavity wall box.This Schneider socket looks superb and matches well with my wallpaper! Great price and well constructed. Great USB features too, makes charging my phones even less of a hassle not having to worry about using adapters.

I used one of these in our new kitchen to replace a double socket to match all the other sockets and light switches which come from the same series.They all look very nice, are well made but there are a couple of issues I have found with this series of sockets:1) If your wall is not absolutely flat the metal covers are difficult to fit - they just keep popping off. They are basically attached by tiny crimped patches on the left and right of the cover that clip over plastic lugs on the socket underneath. It is not a strong fitting which is fine as it allows the covers to be popped of easy as required without damage but even the slightest kink in the plasterwork means the fixing does not hold. I found loosening the mounting screws a small amount (not enough for the socket to be able to move) solved the problem on my freshly plastered walls.2) This is the only one with USB charging sockets I have - it works fine but don't expect fast charging for your phone it only provides enough juice to charge at slow speed.

Love the look & quality of these. Note they are a bit difficult to wire up. Before anyone comments, our electrician approved us fitting them ourselves as a direct replacement. The wiring is at each end of the socket which is different to existing which was central, so it just took longer than expected, but so far all working fine!

Had to use filler behind the frame as they sat proud of the wall leaving gaps behind them, painted edges looked untidy. Any slight warping of the frame when fixed to the wall makes fitting the for lugs on the cover plate extremely difficult. Took ages to get them right. Couldn't use these on a big job take far too long to fit.The Knightsbridge fittings were much quicker and neater in use.Robust fitting though and good heavy connections.
