Great timer function
This is a game changer for my raised garden beds. I have 6 large raised garden beds that I am growing all my veggies in. I got one of these watering systems to see if it worked well and it does! I liked it so much, I am getting one for every bed. I just have to fill the water tub, turn the timer on and it waters my garden just as I normally would. This saves so much time and gives me a sense of security that when I can’t get out(due to disability), my garden will be thriving.

No more need to hire a yard service while I'm on vacation
I got this just to try it out and help me keep my plants from dying while we were gone for a weekend. I've always had to hire someone to water the plants, and even then, we'd sometimes come back to brown, withered plants. I was unsure of how this would work, so I soaked all of my plants before we left and installed the drip lines. I filled my 5 gallon reserve bucket with water and set the timer to water 10 minutes every 24 hours. When we came back, ALL of my plants were alive, doing well and there was still water left in the bucket. You'd need a larger reservoir is you're going away for more than a 3 day trip or if you want it to water more frequently. This is a game changer for my plants in this Florida heat. I'll be buying another one to give to my sister for her garden to use with her rain barrel.

Lot of things to love about this system, but a couple of caveats.
I'm using it in my veggie garden - eight 20 gallon grow bags, plus some in-ground squash. Some things get more than one emitter.I use a full outdoor-sized plastic garbage can (with lid - mosquitos!) for water. 30 minutes uses about 1/3 of the water. This was my first time setting up any drip irrigation, so I made a map in visio first to get my head around it. Helped a lot. Actual set-up was pretty straightforward - maybe an hour.Caveats:There's no actual clock, just a timer, so, to set it to run every day at 6am, you have to start it at 6am. Granted, a one time thing, but still - one main reason for automated watering is to not have be up at 6am.Second, they use non-US-standard sized tubing - it's 4mm/6mm NOT 1/4". Found out the hard way trying to replace a t connector that snapped in half (still not sure how that actually happened).Lastly, almost impossible (for me) to read the LCD in daylight.Note that I saw later that the instructions suggested charging with USB first - I didn't see/do that, but had it out in the sun for a day or two before I tried using it, and it worked fine. Maybe the LCD would have been brighter had I charged it?All and all a great option for areas with no tap/power.

Lights up but doesn't pump
Followed the simple instructions to the letter. The LEDs lit up but the pump never came on. I've bought 3 different types of solar powered pumps in the past. Unlike all of those, this one can not be operated manually to test everything. That's a major disadvantage to this unit. Unfortunately, the Return Window closed before I tried it. There's no way in hale that I'd buy another one of these and I strongly recommend that, if you're reading this, you don't buy one either.

Nice Addition to my garden
This works very well on my small pots on the place I keep on forgetting to water.Ease of Use: The installation is quite easy, no need for instructions really. Although the hose is smaller than the regular store bought the use still the same. The variation of scheduling time are quite useful, it's like set it and forget it. Even if you forget to put water , it will give a good reminder since it buzz when it's empty.I am really surprised this works, hopefully the solar will last longer.Highly recommended!

Solar Drip irrigation Kit Accessories
The Sola Drip irrigation accessories kit, was compatible with my existing irrigation system. Worked Great, tubing nice and tight and water dripping was excellent at 1m 10s in the hot weather.Highly recommend.

Brittle drip lines and water safety restrictions
I got this so that I could have a large water container on a timed drip system into the garden bed. I will say that in terms of watering that garden bed for the summer, it worked well enough for awhile and had some annoyances but ultimately got 2 good months of watering out of it. To summarize the extended information below : instructions say not to get he solar panel wet, drip lines underground became very brittle and broke after 2 months, lots of beeping, overpriced for how much use I got out of it.There are restrictions in the instructions like not getting the underside of the solar panel wet because the button panel isn't water safe. So having it outdoors in a rainy area seems unhelpful. I live in the desert so I adjusted the solar/button box in the hopes of it not getting wet and since it doesn't rain here, didn't have issues with that. The instructions were also unclear on exactly what the different intervals actually mean. After observing for 2 days it was easy to pin down that it would drip for 5 minutes every 12 hours. The beeping for errors like low water is annoying AF. I'm glad that my neighbors didn't complain but I could hear the beeps from across the yard and would run to turn them off until the next day or else everyone around me would probably go mad.The bigger issue was around longevity. After about 2 months, the plants didn't seem to be doing as well and I checked on the drip lines (since they're under the dirt) and a bunch of connections were snapped. I pulled them up to repair the piece that I found snapped and the lines were snapping and brittle and by the time I had the line out, it was too much unrepaired. The blue drippers were fine but all the connector pieces and even points in the line snapped like dry spaghetti. Mystery of the garden turning sad was solved. There were also a lot of times that I would have to push the drippers back under the ground because the vibrating from the machine would slowly move them up in the dirt. You can even see the soil vibrating when the watering turns on. If I was able to use this system for a few years or seasons, I would be happy. But 40 dollars for not even a full season is why I docked the stars. I could probably buy different connectors and re-do it all but my previous setup that cost slightly more and lasted me a few years and no headaches was more cost effective in the long run.
