My favourite sauce!
Simply the best hit pepper sauce you can get! From St Lucia in the Caribbean, the sauce is not vinegar-y like many got sauces, but has a wonderful flavour. Make no mistake, though. It's made from scotch bonnet peppers and it's properly hot!

Vibrant and fresh flavour with a nice punch of heat.
I used to buy another brand of Bajan hot sauce but after Auntie change her recipe (I think)... I decided to look for a new sauce and bought a bottle of Baron West Indian Hot Sauce. The sauce is on the thicker side, more akin to a ketchup, than some of the thinner sauces out there. It also has the same glossy finish as ketchup. The flavour is lovely, with a nice balance between the taste of the chillies, and the mustard. The mustard itself tastes great too. Nice and vibrant. The sauce has a balanced sweetness, and a decent kick of heat. Personally, I'd like just a touch more Turmeric but that's not a criticism but rather that a preference. I also think that the sauce tastes like it uses good quality vinegar. I find that so many hot sauces are let down by tasting like they use cheap vinegar. I make my own fermented hot sauce, so I know that the quality of the vinegar really matters. Whatever Baron uses taste good though. I love it mixed in with baked beans. With a tiny pinch of Turmeric, a little bit of sharp cheddar, and some Dunn's River Everyday Seasoning. Serve it on top of hot buttered toast.... Scrumptious!

Hot! But delicious.
My husband and I went to a restaurant that served up some great hot sauce and I took a pic of it as my husband wanted to see if we could buy some, it's that good! Well good old Google Lens found it. It's every bit as good as the restaurant we found it in and we have it often at home now. Decent sized bottle and you don't need much! (Think English mustard) so it is lasting a good while. Will be back for more when I get near empty!

Bloomin Hot
Its a spicy sauce that doesnt appear to inherently have a huge flavour, but does impart heat for sure!! So I've been using it in sauces where I want it spicy, or as a marinade for bbq'ing chicken to give it a kick!

Best West Indian hot sauce
A little fiery, taste of the Caribbean. Excellent with everything or you can marinade fish or chicken before BBQ. Excellent value for money. I personally have it with scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast, outstanding.

New family favourite, and a must-have addition to any condiment basket! the amount of sauce you get for such little money is just astonishing, it lasts for ages.

This is by far the best hot sauce I have ever bought. I've been buying this sauce for over 20 years and it's still my favorite. It's mustard based so great in soups and gives you enough heat to enhance the flavor of what your eating without killing the taste. In my opinion this is one of the best sauces out there.

If you love hot sauce and you are looking for something with a slight twist, this sauce is amazing! Its made locally in St. Lucia and gets it color from pineapples, but does not have a sweet taste. It is so very, very good on eggs, and much more!! I found this when I visited the island and now I order it from home. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

... delikat. Das spezielle Armoma der West-indies-Hot-Saucen steckt voll drin. Eine sehr ausgewogene Mischung. Ich werde nachbestellen.

I've been buying this particular hot sauce for over 15 years. I have it on everything. Eggs, hot dogs, hamburgers, sandwiches, soups, you name it. This habit has been quite costly but worth it as I've never found a better hot sauce and I've tried them all. The Barons West Indian Hot Sauce has held a special place in my kitchen. I have always bought the 5.5 oz bottle and been special ordering it from my place so was excited to see this14 oz bottle for a fraction of the cost. Unfortunately the product isn't quite the same with the only difference I can see on the ingredients is using mustard powder instead of mustard flour but it does impact the texture and flavor negatively. Still a great sauce.
