Great box dye that I love, but be aware it does lift the colour of your natural hair.
I used this after having highlights for years on my naturally light mousy brown hair. I felt highlighting my hair was very expensive and I never quite got the result I was after. When my roots started to come through after the last highlight session I decided to give this a go. It’s BRILLIANT! I now have the colour I’ve been after all these years at a fraction of the cost. Be aware, it does have a warmth to it and if you don’t want that, DO NOT use it. I really like the warmth, it’s kind of a light apricot or peach, rather than a ginger. I’ve now used it twice, doing it again after the roots began to grow. My roots are warmer than the ends, which is to be expected as the new growth has not been previously bleached, but if your hair is already lightened on the lengths the transition isn’t really noticeable and still looks natural. It did lighten the roots at least a shade or two. So know while it says it washes out after 28 washes, it will still mildly bleach (or at least lift) your natural colour if your colour is lighter than that shown on the box. It’s not simply a temporary stain that will truly wash out - it’s a very mild bleach of hair lift that also deposits what is essentially a toner. The toner part does fade when you wash it, but I only wash my hair once or twice a week tops, so it last well for me. I also have about 40% grey, well my hair is going white rather than grey per se, and for me it doesn’t take hugely to the white - but the white ends up blending perfectly with the light and peach/apricot tones. If I were to describe the colour, I’d personally call it a sandy/taupe blonde with a peach/apricot tone. I absolutely love it. My hair doesn’t feel dry afterwards and as I have fine hair in a bob, one box was plenty of dye, I didn’t need to use it all. For me this has been MUCH better than any box dye that is called permanent, which tends to be too strong and chemically for my fine hair. However, if you’re getting it expecting it to wash out, be ware that while it fades significantly over the washes, please be aware that your hair won’t go back to its original colour, because the dye does lift natural hair at least one or two shades.

Nowhere near the colour on the box
I purchased 623 Nougat Dark Blonde to go over my grey roots and my existing light brown hair colour. The result was nowhere near the dark blonde colour on the box but a very very dark brown. I've tried shampooing my hair several times in the hope that it will wash out and fade. It hasn't! I wish I had never used it on my hair and regret it. The only good thing I can honestly say is that the conditioner leaves your hair feeling soft and gives your hair a nice glossy finish.

Better than in the salon
Title: "Vibrant Hues That Stick Around"I recently tried L'oreal Casting Natural Gloss in 823 Latte Light Blonde , and I'm impressed! The application process was a breeze, and the color payoff exceeded my expectations. The shade was true to the box, providing a bold and vibrant result. What sets this product apart is its longevity. Unlike some semi-permanent colors that fade quickly, this one held up well over several weeks, maintaining its intensity. The formula also left my hair feeling surprisingly soft and conditioned, which is a definite plus. Also, everybody is asking me where did I have my hair done, and they don't believe it when I say it was done at home by me , that has no experience whatsoever. I have attached the before picture and after. Before I have bleached it at home and tried a pink colour in it, still have orange and yellow tones that no toner would get rid of them. This is the only colour I would use from now on. Also it lifts a bit of my natural colour at the root but not too much, just enough to blend it seamlessly.

Not for the faint hearted
I ordered chestnut brown I put it on my roots for 15 minutes rubbed it through to the end and left it on between five and 10 minutes. There is nothing chestnut or brown about the colour. It looks dark black I look awful I have to keep adding shampoo and leaving it on, which is difficult as I have to have sulphate free products, I would buy the product again, but in a much much lighter shade

Very happy
I bought this to cover 11 months of grey grow out, as I didn't want to use permanent dye. I am so impressed with the result; it covered all the grey really well, and has a nice natural look to it. The product has a nice smell, and the conditioning treatment smells really good too. I think I will continue to use this as it is much less damaging to the hair, and I prefer the colour result over permanent dye which can sometimes look a bit fake before it starts to fade.
