Chebe Hair Butter for Growth, Thickening and Nourishment - Ayurvedic Formulation with Horsetail (Lavender, 8 oz)

I've been natural for years and somewhere a long the line I just got lazy and started only using leave in conditioner. While my hair still grew, I noticed it would dry out very quickly after styling ( a couple days) and shed ALOT, so I wanted to reintroduce using heavy butters again to lock in moisture longer (I remembered that's when my hair thrived the most). I usually kept it simple with shea butter but then I would have to melt it a little so that it could be worked in to the hair. I was looking for a butter product that was sort of a whipped version of shea butter to skip the melting step and this was such a pleasant surprise. I was originally looking at some popular brand names such as (aunt Jackie's and camille rose) but stumbled on this and saw how high the reviews were. I brought all three and tried this first because it was closest to the consistency I was looking for (thicker than conditioner but looser than shea butter),and I must say I dont even want to try the other two brands now. A week out and my hair is still so soft and maneagable. It did exactly what I needed it to, contains shea butter and is all natural ingredients - so so far it's the winner for me. Will update this after a few more uses and comparison.

From the very first time I used this product, I knew that it was a keeper. It gives my 4-C hair exactly what it needs, softening and manageability. I keep it in a plastic bag in the refrigerator because it tends to liquify when at room temperature and easily waste. I don't want any of it to waste so I keep it on chilled. Buy it, you'll love it.

Makes my hair soft and shiny. I will say you might get some “oil” residue on your pillow but you can get scented or unscented. Scented is a bit strong but I like it. A little goes a long way, so good value for your money (I have thick hair)

Immediately, I started a return on this order. The product was unsealed and there was a hair in the butter. I have never ordered chebe butter before so I really don't know what it is supposed to look like but comparing it to what I received a day later, it looks like it could possible be mold in my previous order. The smell is nice and not too strong, and the consistency is soft but I am honestly just scared to use it in my hair now...

I just used this for the 1st time today and what a difference it makes. The smell is light and the product is easy to use. Like it says a little goes a long way. I put it in dry hair and was able to run a comb through it easily. I've been experiencing breakage because my hair has been really dry lately. This product has hydrated my hair immediately. I look forward using it again over the next 6 month. I'm going to chronicle my hair growth. I have 3C hair with low porosity. I've had to experiment to find products that support my hair according to the weather. This hair butter is doing the trick for sure and I'm looking for a new shampoo and conditioner to combat the dryness I've been experiencing.

I’ve been using this product in my daughters hair for about three months now. I can definitely tell a difference. Before she would have a lot of breakage on her ends, now her hair is stronger and longer. I definitely recommend this for anyone who is having trouble maintaining their length.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT. USED ON GRANDDAUGHTER'S HAIR AND IT DRIED IT OUT. WE HAD TO WASH THE PRODUCT OUT OF HER HAIR.
