Fast, easy, with great taste and packed with protein
I don't usually eat oats for breakfast, I'm more of an eggs guy, but sometimes when I am in a hurry it's nice to be able to just have a quick meal that's equally satisfying and nutritious. So I recently ordered the peanut butter banana flavor and was curious to see how this brand measured up, and I have to say that after trying it, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. It's easy to make, the lid comes off easy and all I had to do is just add hot water to the fill line. It mixes really well and has a very tasty texture and consistency, without the overpowering taste of sugar I've gotten from other brands. I don't know what the other flavors are like, but I love peanut butter and banana and these oats tasted just like peanut butter and banana! I actually had 2 cups this morning and felt good knowing I got a healthy serving of protein. I'm going to purchase more of these Ideal Oats for some of my on-the-go breakfasts, and I'll know I'm not compromising taste, flavor or nutritional value.

I have been experimenting with oatmeal for years. A staple of the bodybuilder community, oatmeal has earned its place in all healthy households. Organic maple syrup, raw honey, fresh berries, coconut flakes, and yes peanut butter. I’ve tried it all. Nothing comes close to the consistency, flavor, simplicity, and price than this peanut butter flavor. Added bonus (this is the only way to be 5-stars in my book): the oatmeal is actually nutritionally sound. It mirrors the makeup of a quest protein bar, the #1 bar in the fitness community worldwide.

Ugh sugar alcohol sweeteners!
OMg why didn’t any of the reviews mention the horrible sugar alcohol taste? I hate when they add things like sorbitol or erythritol. I can handle Splenda (yellow), nutrasweet (blue), sugar, or agave nectar. I’m not a fan of stevia (green) or sugar alcohols. It’s an awful aftertaste like sweet n low (pink).

I loved it, and I don't care for instant oatmeal
I love oatmeal and usually I cook McCann's steel oats from scratch, which takes 30 minutes. But I have no time these days, so I saw this product on FB and thought I'd try it because of all the good ingredients in it. However, I was skeptical because I didn't think I would like something sweet for breakfast. This morning I tried the Peanut butter banana and found it amazingly tasty, filling and satisfying, and not that sweet. It's exactly what I need when I'm running out the door with no time to make myself a normal breakfast, or even a 5-minute quick oatmeal.

Excellent Oats
Purchased three different brands of protein enriched oatmeal. While all three are good, the Ideal Oats Oatmeal is excellent. The oats are very large, revealing what looks like an intact grain. The taste is fantastic. The oats are not instant, but boil some water and let them stand for 2-5 minutes and you have an excellent breakfast that more than keeps you full until lunch.I highly recommend this product.

Good nutrition but not great taste
I ordered the three available flavors and was generally disappointed. There is a chemical taste, probably the sweetener used. My biggest issue is getting the right consistency. I usually need to add more water than indicated in the directions. It was certainly more convenient than my usual routine of overnight oats mixed with protein additives. The nutritional numbers are attractive but I don’t think I will repurchase.

not my kind of oatmeal
I love peanut butter and I love real oatmeal - not instant. Though this product had a strong peanut butter taste, this oatmeal is not good. First, the package that came out of the shipping box was beat up, crushed and dirty. The oatmeal cups in the box were also beat up, dusty and dirty. The shipping box was pristine. I cleaned up one of the cups, made sure it wasn't punctured and added hot water as directed. It was dry. I added more water, still dry. There were lumps of powder in the cereal that just wouldn't mix with the water. I'd return it if I could.

Too chocolaty, never thought I would ever say that ;)
Yup, finally found something too chocolaty for me, huh. It's just super rich and thick and..well, chocolaty. I think I'm going to try the next one by mixing it half/half with plain oatmeal and see if that works. Don't get me wrong, it's awesome, just a bit too much for me. As they say "it's not you, it's me" :)
