I owned a different guitar cable for about a year now, and I have always had this very quiet hum. I convinced myself that it was coming from my amp, and that was how it is supposed to sound. I was completely wrong! it was my garbage cable from guitar center. I ordered a 10 ft cable from rig ninja back in December and loved it. And recently my garbage cable started screaming (not humming) at me. So I decided to get another rig ninja cable, because I had such a great experience with them in the past. So i got my new cable in, plugged it in, and no more buzz/hum. Note: black rubber cable is a little bit harder to deal with than the blue braided one. This is due to the fact that it sticks to itself instead of just rolling out like the blue one. All in all, their cables are amazing quality for the price. I definitely recommend that you give rig ninja a try!
