Marsace MT-01 Robust Table Desktop Tripod with Ball Head

This is an amazingly sturdy little tripod; it feels solid and very well made. At its heart is a smooth ball-and-socket joint that can be locked into position fairly easily; in theory this means it could be tricky to lock all but one axis of movement but I had little trouble. There is a recess for tilting the camera into portrait orientation.The legs lock at two different heights (set by a rotating collar). I was a little concerned about stability at the higher setting - in some circumstances surely it wouldn't take much to tip it over; and yet even in the high position it coped with my 100-400L lens at maximum extension (using the tripod mount on the lens, not the camera). I'm not sure when I'd ever use it like that, but it shows how sturdy it is.The tightening levers don't have a lot of travel before they bump against something else, which sometimes means having to pull them out and rotate them to a position from where there's more travel; but at least it is possible to do that.The camera baseplate screw doesn't have a handle, so has to be tightened with a coin or key. I can't tighten it enough by hand - it leaves the camera too loose and liable to rotate under its own weight. My Manfrotto tripod's baseplate is too big for the mount on this tripod, alas, so leaving a baseplate permanently attached to the camera for both tripods is not an option. I'm not sure why the legs have little rubber wheels rather than just little rubber ends. It can't roll when deployed, after all (the wheels all point in different directions).There are screw holes near the bottom of the legs, but no indication as to what they are for. Perhaps it can be integrated with other components? There's a spirit level in the end of the screw that tightens the baseplate to the ball; but I can't image when it will ever be oriented usefully!I'm not sure what the three supplied "Octopus straps" are for. They can loop through slots on the tripod legs, but as they don't have Velcro, they are rather awkward to fasten. Could they be used to tie the tripod to a post? Perhaps they could be tied to something else to increase stability. I've yet to find an appropriate use for them.The tripod's case is excellent: a nifty little thing, with lots of carrying handles and even a carabiner clip. This positively encourages portability!My main problem has been to find situations where I would use this tripod in preference to a large tripod, or just sitting the camera somewhere stable.I took some macro photos of my Waterman pen nib (it looks knackered!) using the camera on the tripod, with a 100mm macro lens. With the tripod on its "tall" setting, I had to make sure that one of the legs was below the lens, otherwise it was likely to tip over. Aligning the camera with the subject was tricky: even after tightening the socket, the lens always dropped slightly when I let go of the camera. This happens even with my Manfrotto tripod, so it's no big deal; for macro shots it's often easier to move the subject than the camera. Once settled though, the tripod held the camera firmly in place, and I had no trouble taking multiple exposures for a combined HDR image.That was still pretty much a test setup. Later, I used the tripod in earnest, on a windowsill to take a video of an Iridium flare, and a few dusk/night shots as well. It coped very well, and it was fairly easy to re-orient the camera to take some moon shots from the same spot.I must admit though, in most situations where I might use this tripod, I'm more likely to resort to my full-sized Manfrotto tripod, even when photographing objects (such as origami models) on a desktop. That there are really only two height settings limits its applicability. Then again, this tripod has the advantage of portability; given the nifty carrying case, I could hang it from my camera bag, or just slip it inside. I still have the feeling that at some point it's going to come into its own, and prove itself to be really useful.

TOP END========There are quite a few smaller tripods on the market. Many are fine, some are poor, and some are superb. This is one of the superb ones. It's well constructed and feels solid.PRETTY=======Hmnnnn, no. It's not pretty. However, to be fair it's not ugly either. It simply looks like a nice tripod but there are no unusual or distinctive design features.STABLE=======It's super stable. Even though my camera has built in optical stabilization, there's really no substitute for a sturdy tripod.I found this is essential for shooting macro photography.OVERALL========Lightweight with a solid construction, it has excellent rigidity and for the money is good value..

I love this; it's definitely replacing my GorillaPod for most purposes - it's far stronger (not showing any signs of load with a DSLR and medium zoom lens - I personally don't have any HUGE lenses to try it with), and a great size to travel with. The little zip pounch is a good touch too.There are included straps that pass through a slot in the legs to give the option of attaching it to other items too, and far more securely than the GorillaPod - which really won't stay in awkward positions with a heavy camera attached.While it won't fit in any position, it can be set with two different secure heights. It's very pleasing to see an included ball head and quick release plate, rather than having to purchase these items separately. The solid metal construction feels like it's likely to last longer than I will.Highly recommended.

I have been using this for a while with my cannon camera and have found it very sturdy, easy to use and reliable.It is very good value for money, which impressed me the most. I have always found that more affordable tripods let me down because they end up becoming slack and move around a lot. This one has stayed in great condition after repeated use.It is quite easy to fit in a rucksack so it is perfect for carrying around when you are on trips. It's not very heavy either, which makes it a great tool to have on the goI highly recommend this tripod if you need something reliable and potable for your photography hobby

Wow - this is just a lovely bit of kit. I like everything about it - from the neophrene carry case to the sheer quality of the workmanship. It is compact, light but strong. The ball scocket is very effecective and easily secured. It even has a cork face on the camera fixing plate. It is supplied with a strap which can secure the legs in position, but for a mid weight camera I found the legs were tight enough to stay put with out this.This is not cheap - but you get what you pay for here. Really pleased with it.

This is an excellent bit of kit. Lovely build quality, useful size, well thought out and easy to use. It's a tactile thing, made from high quality metals and to very fine tolerances. Responsive and well designed. Comes with three attachment straps, two different sized allen keys for attachment bolts and a nice neoprene carry case. Tested with a Pentax MX1 it works well for macro shots and landscapes. Looks good too. A nice bit of kit.

This is a very good tripod. It is well-made and highly configurable and can be orientated to take a photo at any angle. It can do aerial photos as well and includes a spirit level. Allen keys are provided to tighten everything up. It takes a while to get everything secured to take the perfect photo but given practice this is an excellent addition to my photographic equipment.

Non capiscono invece che un mini tripod come questyo cinese Marsace (Marseis) diventa insostituibile proprio "in trincea", quand si debba abbassare più possibile il punto di ripresa e/o manchino superfici piane o punti di appoggio adeguati.Regge l'impossibile (Nikon F3+MD4+400/3.5 organizzati nella foto allegata pesano nel complesso 4 kg e mezzo) e salvo i limiti fisici dati dalla gravità, la sfera della testa non cede di un micron.Il prezzo è più che adeguato: questa è la riduzione dimensionale di un professional tripod.

Marsace schreibt auf die Verpackung des MT 01 : "The worlds best desktop tripod". Und dem kann ich nur zustimmen. Ich war schon seit langem auf der Suche nach einem Tischstativ/Ministativ, dass meine Kamera auch wirklich stabil hält. Ich nutze eine A7 mit verschiedenen Objektiven darunter auch etwas schwerere, mit L-Bracket übersteigt die Kombination leicht 1,1 kg. Ich habe schon viele verschiedene Ministative ausprobiert, darunter auch das von Cullman und den Gorillapod. Doch all diese waren nie stabil genug für meinen Geschmack. Ursprünglich habe ich das Stativ nur wegen dem Tripod gekauft und hatte vor meinen eigenen Kugelkopf zu montieren. Doch inzwischen finde ich,dass der Kugelkopf sogar genialer als das Stativ ist. Er ist extrem kompakt und sehr gut verarbeitet, ich würde ihm problemlos 5kg zutrauen. Der Tripod hält noch deutlich mehr aus, alle mal mehr als eine Kamera wiegen würde, er ist auch extrem sauber verarbeitet. Alle Hebel und Rädchen sind aus Stabilem Aluminium und stark geriffelt, sodass man immer Grip hat. Wenn man den Hebel an der Arca-swiss-Platte löst lässt diese sich frei drehen für Panorama Aufnahmen und Schwenks. Meiner Meinung ist das genial und ich wünschte dieses Feature hätten mehr Kugelköpfe.Nun zu den einzigen beiden negativen Aspekten, die dieses Stativ hat. Meiner Meinung nach ist der aufgestellte Winkel etwas zu steil gewählt, zudem sieht es so aus als hätte man sogar 3 Positionen einfräsen können.deutlich schlimmer ist meiner Meinung nach, die Tatsache, dass sich die Gummiräder an den Spitzen drehen, was sie relativ etwas sinnlos macht. Und aus meiner Sicht gibt es keinen Grund dafür spricht.Dennoch ist es mit Abstand das beste Stativ in diesem Segment.60€ sind nicht gerade günstig für ein Ministativ, aber das ist es auf jeden Fall wert, auch weil der Kugelkopf so genial ist.

Mini treppiedi robusto, costruito con materiali di ottima qualità. Strumento indispensabile quando si deve abbassare il punto di ripresa vicino al terreno e, magari, privo di superfici piane o punti di appoggio adeguati. Sostiene bene una DSRL professionale con 70/200 innestato, grazie ad una testa con sfera di generose dimensioni.Non costa poco, ma ripaga l'utilizzatore con prestazioni tipiche di un treppiedi professionale, seppure in formato mignon.

Ich habe nach einer Lösung dafür gesucht, nicht immer ein großes Stativ herumschleppen zu müssen, wenn ich bei meinen Städtetouren zwischendurch auch ein paar Langzeitbelichtungen mit ND-Filter machen möchte: Ein kleines, leichtes, stabiles Stativ mit tauglichem Kopf. Das Marsace MT-01 bietet alles, was ich brauche. Komplett (!) aus Metall, hochwertig in der Verarbeitung und mit der Möglichkeit, es mit den Riemen an Stellen festbinden zu können, wo sich kein geeigneter Ort zum Aufstellen findet. Die Riemen lassen sich problemlos ebenfalls in der mitgelieferten Neoprentasche verstauen.Den Hebelgesetzen folgend kippt es mit aufgesetzter APS-C-DSLR natürlich im Hochkantmodus und auch quer ist je nach Objektiv irgendwann Schluss. Da man das Stativ in solchen Fällen problemlos mit zwei Fingern am Ende eines Bein festhalten kann, ohne dass es verwackelt, ist das jedoch unproblematisch.Der Kopf ist derart klasse, dass ich ihn auch mit dem großen Stativ verwenden werde. Allein der Kopf wäre mir den Kaufpreis wert gewesen.

Das MT-01 ist ein sehr schönes und robustes Tischstativ mit Kugelkopf und Arca Swiss Kupplung. Ohne die Platte wiegt es genau 400gr. Damit ist es relativ schwer im Vergleich zu anderen Tischstativen, allerdings reden wir hier vielleicht über 100 gr. Der Nutzen der Libelle (Wasserwaage) in der Arretierschraube erschliesst sich mir nicht ganz, ansonsten finde ich das Ministativ formschön und sehr gut. Meine Anwendung: in der Wohnung Aufnahmen auf Bodenhöhe., Kamera: Sony a7.

Manfrotto kann einpacken, genau so etwas habe ich gesucht ein wirklich stabiles Tischstativ ohne Schnickschnack aka Travelstativ.Super Verarbeitung, die Knöpfe sind in verschiedene Postionen arretierbar. Meine DLSR mit dem Sigma 18-35 Art hält der Kugelkopf ganz locker. Arca Swiss kompatibel und sogar eine Art „Panorama“ Kopf. Das heißt die Kupplung lässt sich 360 grad drehen.

Das marsace MT 01 ist ein kleines handliches Tischstativ. Das Stativ selbst wiegt 399g mit Kopf aber ohne Kameraplatte, die Tasche wiegt 45g und die Sicherungsbänder (3 Stk.) wiegen jeweils 8g. Somit kommt man für den normalen Einsatz auf ein Transportgewicht von 452g ( Stativ, Tasche und 1 Sicherungsband).Die Verarbeitung des Stativs ist sehr gut - das Stativ ist vollständig aus Alu gefertigt!!! Die Stativbeine können in 2 Winkeln abgespreizt werden so das sich eine Höhe von Minimum 11,1cm oder eine Maximal von 19,8cm gemessen an der Auflage Schnellwechselaufnahme ergibt. Der Kugelkopf hält selbst schwerere Kamerakombinationen wie z.B. Pentax K3+ Sigma 70-200mm 2,8 im Normalformat. Logischerweise droht im Hochformat oder geringer Beinabspreizung durch die Gewichtsverlagerung ein Kippen des Stativs - das ist aber Physik und kann von einem so kleine Stativ nicht geleistet werden. Durch die Sicherungsbänder welche durch die vorhandenen Schlitze in den Beinen gezurrt werden können, ist jedoch eine Stabilisierung/Sicherung selbst dann mit etwas Aufwand möglich.Der Kugelkopf wird durch einen kleinen Hebel dessen Griff individuell auf der Schraube verdreht werden kann, arretiert. Über eine kleine darunter liegende Inbus-Schraube kann in gewissem Masse eine Friktionseinstellung vorgenommen werden.Für die Kameraaufnahme verfügt der Kugelkopf über eine ARCA-kompatible Schnellwechselaufnahme inkl. einer Schnellwechselplatte. Sehr piffig ist die Panorama-Funktion welche durch die drehbare Schnellwechselaufnahme realisiert wurde. Diese wird über den zweiten kleinen Hebel gelöst und ermöglicht ein leicht gedämpftes und fast spielfreies Drehen der Schnellwechselplatte/Kamera. Vorteil der Anordnung ist, das man über den Kugelkopf die Kamera gerade ausrichten, und dann die Kamera in Waage drehen kann.Pro:1. sehr handlich und klein2. hervorragend verarbeitet, alles bewegt sich leicht gedämpft3.zwei mögliche Höheneinstellungen mit 11,1 bzw. 19,8cm, einfach und einheitlich über das zentrale Rad unterhalb des Kugelkopfes einstellbar4. sichere Arretierung des niedirg bauenden Kugelkopfes auch bei schwereren Kameras5. Länge des Bolzens für die Arretierung des Kugelkopfes relativ kurz, so das die Position des Arretiergriffes nicht beliebig veränderbar ist (Berührung mit Stativkopf gegeben)2. Tasche ermöglicht Transport des Stativs mit 90° abgewinkelter Schnellwechselaufnahme, Sicherungsbänder und Inbusschlüssel müssen separat transportiert werden (sofern benötigt)3. Belastungsangaben des Herstellers mit 75kg für das Stativ sowie 12kg für den Kugelkopf sind sicherlich etwas überzogen, bis cirka 5kg im praktischen Einsatz sehe ich jedoch keinerlei Probleme, und damit für die meisten Kamera-Objektiv-Kombinationen ausreichend!3. Stativfüße sind Gummirollen, sollte das für jemanden ein Problem sein, kann man diese jedoch leicht mit Sekundenkleber auf der Beininnenseite unsichtbar verklebenAktuell (März 2017) wird das Stativ für knapp 60,-€ verkauft. Im Hinblick auf die Stabilität, die sehr gute Verarbeitung und den für die Größe sehr guten Kugelkopf mit ARCA-kompatibler Schnellwechseleinheit und Panoramafunktion ist der Preis absolut gerechtfertigt und angemessen! Das Stativ ist nicht vergleichbar mit Ministativen wie Cullmann Copter oder Manfrotto Tischstativen. Im Vergleich mit dem Novoflex Minipod (3 Beinwinkel) welches rund 110,-€ ohne Kopf kostet, ziehe ich das Marsace MT01 vor, das es kompakter und im Aufbau praktischer ist.Absolute und uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung für ein qualitativ hochwertiges Tischstativ!

Es gibt nicht viele kleine leichte und halbwegs stabile Stative für unterwegs. Gegenüber herkömmlichen Reisestativen sparrt man viel Platz und Gewicht. Dieses kleine Stativ hat zudem noch einen ganz passablen, sprich stabilen, Kugelkopf. Alle Verschlüsse laufen glatt und klemmen recht gut, so dass eine MFT Kamera oder eine alpha ohne Probleme gehalten werden.Etwas Besonderes ist die Arca Swiss Basis oben am Kugelkopf: Diese lässt sich so entriegeln, dass sie - bei fixiertem Kopf - frei drehbar ist. Ist die Basis einmal waagerecht, erfolgt so auch die Drehung absolut waagerecht. Auch wenn der Kopf selbst schräg steht. Das ist bei normalen Kugelköpfen, bei denen an der Basis des Kugelkopfes gedreht wird, anders. Ein klarer Vorteil für den Panoramafreund!

Hallo!Schon die Verpackung war ein Heilight richtig hübsch verpackt.Der Inhalt absolut sein Geld wert ,gleich ausprobiert an Sony 77 mit 18-50 von Tamron alles Bombenfest unglaublich.Die Verarbeitung erste Sahne und hochwertig ,das Stativ ist sein Geld wert.
