Works beautfully
This arrived promptly and was very easy to fit. My door aperture is 6cms but i found if I lined up the bottom of the Magflap aperture with the bottom of the door aperture this completely covered the cut-out in the door, I just omitted the top centre screw when fixing as it was too close to the edge. Despite using only 5 of the six supplied screws, the fit is flush and airtight and there is no draught coming through anymore. Its only 1.5cm deep so not obtrusive and the magnets are strong enough to pull flap shut each time yet post just slips through - my postman didnt even know it had been fitted. Very pleased with the product - its a neat solution with no unsightly brushes. I would have liked to see a chrome or brass version, but the silver looks fine with the chrome fittings on the door. I would definitely recommend this product.

Fabulous - easy to fit and looks great
Arrived quickly and had personal communication and advice from Nick the inventor :). I can't comment on sturdiness as only fitted it this evening! I have a solid wood door and I fitted it in less than two mins. It looks very smart and fits in with the modern look of my house. Haven't had a letter delivered yet, but I'm sure it will be great. It is massively cutting out a draught into our open plan house, so I think will make a significant difference to the temperature of our home. thank you!

The good product but they need to find new delivery agents British Mail are useless
Haven't fitted it yet that's it looks expensive and feels strong I think it will do the trick keeping the cold out and the warm in

Be careful - if you have a lot of packages delivered thank twice!!
I have written a review previously when I first bought this product, I said it was a good great product in concept, BUT!! the actual flap is hinged on a plastic strip which in normal use is OK. However if you are used to having small packages i.e. from Amazon delivered the extra strain that seems to put on the hinge is a problem. My first one of these lasted 18 months, the 2nd one lasted nine months and in each case the plastic hinge broke clean off, after much debate I got replacements - it felt like I was being accused of abusing my letter box and breaking it!!! Now months later I thought I would give it another chance by ordering one for daughters new house. Problem this time was that the front is basically foam, so no purchase at all so I tried to return it. First I had to face the interrogation why was I returning yet another one for a refund, I explained the return was agreed but then I was told the item was returned scratched so no refund. I know this is a small company etc. and customer service may not be an affordable attribute - but if that is the case I can not see how they will thrive.

Been looking for something like this for a while. It arrived promptly, was simple to fit, and does the job perfectly. Would highly recommend this. In fact - I already have to other members of my family. It'll certainly be much less draughty in our hallway this winter !

Fitted in minutes!
I don’t usually leave product reviews but thought this might help someone in a similar situation. I bought this hoping it would replace my old and broken letterbox flap that would constantly stay open after the postman (who cannot seem to muster the strength or motivation to fully post my mail through the box) had been. It was cold and draughty. It took me 5 minutes to install after I borrowed my husbands screwdriver, even he was impressed! It’s a great product, does what it says and looks better than most others.

Says it's high quality but is cheap plastic
I thought this was going to be much nicer than it actually is. The plastic material is thin and light and the hinge on the flap isn't a hinge at all - it's a thin plastic moulded join that, within a few hundred uses, will likely perish and break.I couldn't find any mention in the description at all that it's plastic - the description says 'Silver Satin Finish' which, to me, alludes to a metal material.On the plus side it was easy to fit.However I ended up going to Architectural Decor and bought a decent nickel one.

Good investment
Always had a draughty letterbox, should have bought this sooner! really easy to fit and completely blocks draughts. Now just need to stop anyone posting from leaving things half in/half out!
