Excellent to practice face painting I haven’t regretted our chasing this one time. I really loved the price and I love everything it comes with. It’s small enough to mimicking a child’s small face, which make it an excellent practice space for me to practice face painting techniques. I could pivot the head, and used it as a model to make a sign for my face painting kit. The price is excellent and the hair feels so soft. I enjoyed braiding her hair to keep it out of the face area. If you’re a make up artist, you may not enjoy this because you can’t put eye shadow on it because her eyes are open. But if you practice eye lashes, hair styles, face painting or anything else like this, I feel this is the right mannequin head for you. Also, yes she stained a little while I painted her face, but the majority of the stains came off when I used alcohol or a sea breeze type facial toner. A magic eraser sponge also helped. The staining doesn’t show up in the photos I’ve taken of it with face painting ideas painted on it, so I’m very happy.

I am a cosmetology student and I wanted a mannequin to use solely for cutting. Some things I have made note of while using this mannequin: Pros: beautiful, long, shiny hair, and even length all around. Cons: hair tangles easily and dries too quickly for haircutting use and CANNOT use heat. Overall, I like this mannequin because it's great for cutting. The hair is beautiful and long and should last for the remainder of my schooling. One thing I would like to make note of are the hair tangles. If this is something you are looking for to gift a child, just be aware that the hair does tangle pretty easily, and if it's not taken care of right away it will get worse. I do recommend for cosmetology use. *IMPORTANT NOTE* This is synthetic hair, meaning you cannot use hair color or other chemicals on it. UPDATE: I went to curl the mannequin and it did not curl. The hair was as straight as could be and didn't have not even the tiniest sign of a curl. I turned up the heat and left the iron on the section of hair for longer, and the hair still didn't budge. I touched the hair and it felt thinner compared to the hair where the heat was not applied. The seller claim that heat and hot tools can be used on the mannequin, but that is NOT true. I'm pretty disappointed because the hair is long and beautiful and I just know curls would've looked great on her.

It’s okay for the price but since it’s synthetic hair it doesn’t hold a curl and can’t get straight with a straighter and gets super tangled. It also sheds a lot and the hair feels nappy. It’s alright for beginners who are just trying hairstyles but if you are looking for something that is high quality and with good silky hair I would recommend getting another mannequin that has real hair.

I love this mannequin head!!! It clamps onto the table and the head can swivel or stay still. The hair is very pretty and soft. I love trying different hairstyles on her.

The hair quality was a 5/10, the length was spot on, & the size of the wig was too small for my head. The greatest part was the price and the convenience when needing something quick.

Im currently in cosmetology school and this was the quickest thing I could get last minute due to us beginning in hair. I figured it would be useful for at least pin ups/roller sets but sadly the hair won’t stop getting tangled. I have to keep combing it out with every section of hair I’m dividing. It won’t even wrap around the rollers while wet and unravels soon as you get close to the scalp of the doll. Look how many pins I even tried using to simply keep the hair from falling off the roller. I wouldn’t even dare washing this thing due to the fact that it tangles SO BAD. And usually shedding wouldn’t bother me, but THIS! A nightmare. I’m feeling strands of hair all over me even after cleaning up, it’s just all over the place. The only thing I can see benefiting from this, is for the hair cutting process but I wouldn’t use this to even practice adding in hair while braiding because although many pictures are shown with braids, I’m sure it took them longer and more patience for the hair to even grip it properly for it to stay in place. It unravels very quickly. PLEASE SAVE THE HASSLE. It’s just better to spend your money on something that’s actually substantial and won’t create headaches. It can already be frustrating learning hair techniques, don’t make your brain hurt even more with this mannequin.
