Micro Chef Grill, White, 27 x 27 x 17.5 cm

Somewhere I have put in a review already but this was in my list for reviewing so I will go into more details, unlike before where I was restricted.There is nothing wrong with this product except that you can't get a full recipe book. What does come with it is not adequate enough for you to cover all that is possible to do. I tried our favourite recipe, spaghetti bolognese but, after several attempts, gave up, I could not get the sauce to thicken, tried everything I knew to no avail, including less and less liquid. My daughter tried to do vegetables but ended up finishing them off the usual way as they were taking way too long to cook. Obviously we are doing things wrong but without an actual book to help, this now just sits prettily in our kitchen (it goes with our red pans displayed around on the walls)Haven't yet tried to do things mentioned in the 'Recipe guide' which features 21 recipes, of which only 3 are vegetarian, so that's all the choice I have, 1 for for vegans. With day to day cooking I can usually replace meat products with the many options available but, only 1 in this book can this happen (beefburger).If I could have a full recipe book, this would be an excellent product.

I have used this three times so far and it worked successfully, but I am disappointed. The recipe book is a disgrace and shows little more than sandwich recipes which I already do very successfully in my sandwich maker. According to the tv advert I can use a steaming ring and the cake making tray. These are not included in this item, and up to now I have not managed to find out where to buy these extras, or the price. There are a few extra recipes on their website but when II say a few, I mean a few. I feel I can do roast potatoes far quicker and easier in my usual method rather than with this Grill. I have looked up the YouTube uses and recipes which help a tiny bit. I am expecting great results from this, so watch this space!

Am disappointed because it doesn't fit in my microwave. When it goes round the corners bump into the sides of the mircrowave. It does turn but I am not sure it is safe with the corners hitting the door. I think the idea is great but I need a bigger microwave. If you are buying this, check the size of your microwave oven before you buy. I think something should be mentioned about the size to avoid people like me buying it. I am not sure if I am going to return it or buy a bigger microwave. Just very disappointed. I am giving it 3 stars because it is OK. I like the idea that the handle turns into a stand for the lid. If I buy a bigger microwave and can use it - then I will write another review.

Hmm. the jury is still out on this one. Some foods it cooks a treat, others well ? It seems to do meat very well, steak, chops, chicken, veal. I found potatoes difficult also bacon, pasta and rice and eggs. It has discoloured somewhat since new and some foods are beginning to stick to the non stick coating, even though I have never used anything harsh to clean it and have always followed the instructions. The lack of a recipe book is quite criminal, it's very much trial and error. As I said earlier, the jury is out on this one.

The grill is great but there is one small problem and that is that the handle is too high. From the base to the top of the handle is 170mm but the total internal height of my small micro wave is only 160mm so I can not use the grill for cooking which requires use of the Support Ring.The handle needs to be re-designed lower.Otherwise very happyIan Brear

I have found this pot to be invaluable ... am finding all sorts of ways to use. The toasted sandwiches are more like the panni press type than the filler and sealed .. but quick and clean. Easy to clean pot. very useful.. just roasted some sprouts and they where very tasty.Works like a mini oven.

It is only large enough to cook one burger at a time, a 1/4 pounder or 2 regular size ones, one on top of the other. The handles catch on the insides of my microwave, I must only have a small microwave. When I enquired about recipes for stews soups etc. I was told they would get back to me but they haven't.Probably only suitable for a person who cooks for one.

A decent cookery book is needed with this, as it could turn out expensive just ‘trying’ things. I bought the cooker with the muffin tray, and there aren’t any clues whatsoever in the little recipe book, how to use it! We have tried some of the recipes supplied, and they have worked lovely. The only reason that I have marked this down is down to no decent guide.
