Fringe. What to say? An incredible series. After having started watching Doctor Who after planet of the dead aired in uk I started expanding on scifi series and after a while I stumbled on this one. Started watching on tv I immediatly loved it. The story is amazing. The actors all incredible. Walter Olivia Peter and all the others.. don't even know where to start there is so much to talk. Episode after episodes of incredible cases and misteries, like the bald guys. Who are they? Why are they here? Why are they mentioned in a few frames of the opening titles? You progress through the story and more and more questions gets added till the ending of the series. Every episode is amazing. The past keeps returning. Can't say much to avoid spoilering people reading this but a must buy for scifi lovers like me. A unique package with all the series in dvd/blueray for a cheap price.Following is the complete list of the Extras, audio and subtitles.Season 1 to 4Audio: EnglishSubtitles: English, English for hearing impaired, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, SwedishSeason 5Audio: EnglishSubtitles: English, English for hearing impairedSeason 1Extras:Fringe: Deciphering the Scene: sidebars on every episodeDissected files: Unaired scenesThe Massive Undertaking: Docupods on select episodesUnusual Side Effects: Gag reelRoberto Orci's Production DiaryGene the CowBlu Ray exclusive (Only BD-Live): Commentary track for the final episode, "There's More than One of Everything," with writers Jeff Pinkner, J.R. Gripping and engaging drama.
Currently finished watching the first series of this brilliant programme with another four to view, so not seen it in its entirety yet. But am very impressed and would heartily recommend it from what I have seen so far. It reminded me a little of the Millienium series. I am looking forward for to watching it all. Definitely 5 stars.

Nothing Is What It Seems
Clever, witty and grounded in science [theory] Fringe rocks along as an enjoyable set of stories about unexpected events that you think you're following and understand... But you probably don't. As soon as you get your bearings, it takes a step sideways and something else happens. There is some CGI to keep those with a low IQ happy, but for the rest of us... well, you really do have to pay attention. And the alternative universe is only the beginning! That said, there are lots of light moments: especially with Walter [Doctor Bishop], who is a certified lunatic - but very bright. In fact all the characters are well casted, believable and fit perfectly with one another. And with many playing TWO roles - one in each universe - it's amazing how they managed to keep trackAll-in-all, I for one was sad to find there are 'only' 100 episodes. I could have watched that many more, easily. If X-files was the gold standard, Fringe is platinum - and then some

Great up until the final season.
This boxset is comparable to the TV series LOST.Not that their individual storylines have anything in common, and they both have their own unique cast members. They're identical for the fact they are both brilliantly imagined. The storyline is slow starting, but utterly engrossing. The main characters are brilliant and as you develop an understanding to what is actually going on, it's thoroughly enjoyable and binge worthy. And just like the series LOST, it's brilliant until you reach the final season.Just like LOST, the final season is terrible, but keeps you confused as to what the hell is going on you have no choice but to watch it to the end.Great story.Great cast.Awful ending.

Brilliant series!
I bought this just over a month ago purely having read the reviews - I had not seen it on tv - and I am so glad I did. I LOVED EVERY MINUTE! I wanted more and more and some nights was virtually square-eyed. It is such a brilliant series, excellently written and acted. I love Star Trek, Star Wars, Roswell, Babylon 5, Alias, Firefly, Stargate (all of them) and much more besides, and this series is a very worthy addition to my collection. Unlike many new series that I have got into only for them to be canned this one actually does reach a satisfactory, and very emotional, ending. If you love the series that I do, buy this as well. You will NOT regret it!I must add that I am not a teen, I am a 57-year old female, but have always loved all these sorts of series and I'm sure I will continue to do so.
