Such a great, luxurious hair product. Smells of lemon pound cake and leaves hair feeling and looking great.

This is the best shampoo I have used, so far, for my dry, gray hair!!! It makes it soft, shiny and it feels thick and lusterous. I have washed my hair with it several times, and the result is always the same. I will DEFINITELY buy it again!!! 😊💜

Didn't work on my hair (natural straight blonde) it smells like old stale Grandma perfume and left my hair gummy.

I loved the scent! It left my hair so soft and clean, no waxy feel or heaviness, keeps tangles out. I don't use brushes or combs, only my fingers to "comb" or untangle my hair. I find myself playing with my hair all the time as it's so soft and silky!

I got sucked in by the name Cake! I thought this shampoo would have a luscious buttery vanilla scent, but it’s not vanilla at all, in fact it’s a very light dollar store cherry blossom scent that barely covers the odor of the shampoo base. So you can detect a bit of an off smell. Luckily I have a lab full of aroma chemicals and can easily modify the scent or I’d be annoyed that I spent $9.99 on such an unsatisfactory fragrance. The consistency is nice and thick if you like that, no issues with the shampoo base itself. It cleaned my hair fine and doesn’t seem to be leaving any residue behind. It’s like regular old shampoo. But with a subpar aroma.

With my hair I have to use high end shampoo and conditioner. I like to switch it up and try different brands so I ordered the Cake shine shampoo and moisturizing conditioner. It was much cheaper then my normal brands so I was leary at first. This works as well as the brands 3x the price and SMELLS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Would highly recommend.
