Affordable and Efficient Printer for Everyday Use
Review: I recently purchased the Epson EcoTank ET-2400 for my home office, and it has been a solid performer. The setup was straightforward, and I appreciate the cartridge-free design that allows for easy ink refills. The print quality is sharp for both documents and color images, making it suitable for a variety of tasks. Pros: Low Operating Costs: The EcoTank system significantly reduces the cost per page compared to traditional cartridge printers. Compact Design: Its small footprint fits well in my limited workspace. Wireless Connectivity: I can print from my smartphone and laptop without any issues. Cons: No Automatic Document Feeder (ADF): Manual scanning and copying can be time-consuming for multi-page documents. Occasional Connectivity Issues: There have been rare instances where the printer disconnects from the network, requiring a restart. Noise Level: The printer is slightly noisier than expected during operation. Conclusion: Overall, the Epson EcoTank ET-2400 offers excellent value for its price. It's a reliable choice for individuals or small businesses seeking an affordable, efficient printer for everyday tasks.

The BEST
This is the best printer I’ve ever owned. It’s quiet, quick and is great quality. The ink is so easy to use, and lasts a very long time. I’ve printed close to 1,000 pages and my ink isn’t even half gone. The big plus is how reasonably priced the ink is. I love that I can print from my phone or computer. Super easy set up, connects well to Bluetooth. I love this Epson Eco-Tank Printer.

Does not maintain WiFi connectivity reliably
Let me preface this with the fact that I have over 35 years experience in the computer industry, so I don’t believe I’ve been outwitted by an inanimate object such as this Epson ET-2400. The initial set-up was very frustrating, as it requires the downloading and use of a smartphone App to set-up WiFi connectivity, rather than do it directly from the printer’s own control panel, which is minimalist to the point of being useless. Once the App is downloaded, you must establish a connection between your phone and the printer, directly, in order to begin installation and set-up. Long story short, the printer refused to recognize my mesh WiFi network using the smartphone App. I ended up downloading the printer driver from Epson’s website and using that software, was able to finally get the printer to recognize and connect to my network via WiFi, but I was never able to get the USB connection to the computer to work, even though I had the driver installed. Once connected, I was able to get the printer to print, and the quality of the print was decent, but unfortunately, the printer kept dropping the WiFi connection, with the printer queue reporting the printer was offline. The issue was not my mesh network since one of the mesh nodes was in the very same room as the printer, and my older Epson Workforce 545 never had a problem maintaining a connection. My theory is Epson is using a lower quality WiFi chip in these new printers, and it’s unable to maintain a stable connection. Bottomline: based on my experience, I don’t recommend this series of printers due to WiFi instability and lack of usable USB connectivity. Am returning the printer and look elsewhere. Looking at the reviews of several Epson, HP, and Canon printers on Amazon, there appears to be a common thread of problems with WiFi on most of the printers reviewed, which reinforces my theory that they’re all sourcing their WiFi chip from the same, lower quality manufacturer to save money. Good luck in your quest to find a reliable printer these days…it seems the quality has decreased, across the board.

Impressive!
Impressive and reliable! This printer is not only easy to set up, it actually works first time, every time. I like the idea of not being constantly hassled about buying those expensive ink cartridges, too. It's a great value for the money and the size isn't so big it takes up the entire printer table. The buttons are easy to read, as are the ink levels. I have returned two printers this past year due to defects and/or unreliability. So glad to have found this one!

Quality Printer
The setup of this machine was easy as the instructions are clear and you are guided along the way, adding ink was also easy as the bottles are designed to auto fill. The printer prints very clear images. There was a few prints that came out with lines which resulted in a need to clean the print head. Overall its a good purchase and I must add that it has a quality built as its sturdy.

great looking
It's a great product if you want a printer splashed in ink that was not supposed to be in the printer to be tossed around in shipping. The ink bottles to fill the ink tanks were supposed to be outside the printer - so the printer does not work - it is good looking - you are not supposed to tip the printer once the ink tanks are filled - and the printer does not work once it is tossed around with ink in it - that happened with the original order and the replacement - both have been returned - but it takes weeks to get your money back - still don't have my refund

Excellent Value Printer with Amazing Ink Savings
I am extremely satisfied with the printer. The print quality is excellent, with sharp text and vibrant colors for both documents and images. Setup was quick and straightforward, and the EcoTank ink system is a game changer—no more expensive cartridges, just easy refills and huge ink savings. It prints efficiently, handles everyday tasks smoothly, and is perfect for home.

Good Printer Imposible Instructions.
Received the printer yesterday and began the process of setting it up. First I needed to download the software and drivers. That's when the pain began. I understand wireless printers and shared network printers. In this case, I wanted to connect the printer to our home wireless network so different computers could access it. The User's Guide spends a little time on a "Wireless Direct" setup where you connect your computer wirelessly directly to the printer, but little time on a LAN printer setup. After loading all the software and drivers, I finally got the printer connected to my LAN, but it took a number of false starts and trial and errors to get the printer on the LAN to be visible to my laptop. There are essentially zero instructions about this in the user's guide. Eventually I got it to print on my laptop. Then I needed to hook it up to my wife's laptop. Again, no instructions on connecting multiple computers to the printer over a LAN. I did know enough to "share" the printer in the printer settings. I eventually installed the complete software and driver package on wife's laptop. When trying to connect wirelessly, I kept getting error codes. After a few hours, I defaulted to the USB cable installation method. Now I could at least complete the installation without errors. When I went to the list of printers on the laptop I saw the epson, but it said "offline". I think that's because what I was seeing was the USB instance of the printer, not the LAN version. I finally went to Device Manager and found a second instance of the epson printer marked "Network". I was able to make this the default and the printer would now print from both laptops. Only about 3 hours more to get a second laptop to print. Since the Epson EP 2400 is a home printer and likely to be set up for wireless operation, it should take a visit by the Geek squad to get it up and running. Epson should be ashamed of their manual and instructions. Now that it's working, it does seem to print well although a bit slow.
