PlayMOBIL 6929 Country Horse Grooming Station, 5 years and up, Fun Imaginative Role-Play, PlaySets Suitable for Children Ages 4+

My daughter (age 7 just turned) loves horses and really gets a lot out of Playmobil too so this set ticks both boxes. What stuck out to me on this set was the amount of detailed little pieces perfect for my daughter to play 'stable' and 'looking after horse'. The main attraction here is the horse shower, which actually works from a little finger pump and it drains away into a little drain under where the horse stands to continuously go around the system. To be perfectly honest though my daughter just loves it as it is without water (which I'm sure many parents will be glad to hear). There's the usual amount of construction in this set with a little more detail in the pump/hose area but the instructions are clear and easy to follow. It really is a lovely set and like most Playmobil sets, brings a smile to both kids and parents faces, it did in our house. Includes a horse, rider, even a horse coat and stable gear, some greenery (actually Playmobil does excellent natural surroundings stuff like trees etc) and shelves/shed Highly recommended, especially if your little one loves horses.

If children are young need held to put together which they enjoy doing other then that it’s a nice toy would buy again have brought playmobil for my children and now buy for grandchildren

This was a nice little set and received very happily by my 5yr old daughter. The pump works fine - it just circulates the same small amount of water, so you can wash horses for as long as you want! However, I would avoid the temptation to make the horses dirty with real dirt, as this is just going to clog up (top tip: use something like HP or Soy Sauce to make your horse grubby if you need more authentic play - it washes off easily and is safe). Usual Playmobil quality - very rugged. Quite a few tiny accessories to lose. The two design flaws I can see are: 1. The flag pole is very long and held in the base by a short stud. The tremendous leverage exerted on the base of the pole by little hands attaching/detaching the flag inevitably caused it to snap off in the base after only a few hours of play - not what you expect from Playmobil stuff, which usually lasts several generations without breaking. 2. The pump is made of thin PVC-type plastic which is definitely going to develop an air hole before too long, as this kind of plastic fatigues with use. I'm surprised they didn't design a syringe-type pump using hard plastic parts. I expect this toy will be withdrawn or re-designed after a short time for these 2 reasons.

Easy to assemble. My 8 yr old needed some help to put it together. It’s a very clever little set up. My daughter loves washing her horses! Some small pieces. She lost the tiny sponge within minutes! No idea where it’s gone!!!

We love playmobiles, it's great for children who are not into lego building. Fab for role play and imagination. Very happy with it

Easy to build and didn’t use tons of water so kids don’t get really wet.

If you’re familiar with horses at ALL, then you’re going to absolutely ADORE this set! You can actually bathe your horses! Like, real water comes out! It’s an epic “Ode to Horse-bathing”...with little brushes, little buckets...little cute things... My grandson & I “race” the horses over to see who gets to bathe them first (that is, after we’ve taken the horses out to “roll” in the dirt..lol!) Just buy it already...it could be on its way to you NOW!
