I bought these socks because I was getting ready to refinish my hardwood floors and wanted to ensure that neither I nor the contractors would scratch the floor when the furniture was to be moved back in. They were super easy to put on for all but the widest of legs - which was good because I had my friend lift each leg of the furniture while I slipped the socks on (and we're both seniors and didn't want to be holding furniture up for too long!). The legs for my bed, however, were within the range that was advertised for this product (2") but I was not able to put them on - just couldn't stretch them enough. Perhaps if this was for a lighter piece of furniture I could have wrangled them on - with enough time and effort -- but the bed was just too heavy to lift for any length of time (in hindsight I realized I should have used one of those car lift things that I have ;-). Anyway, for all of the other pieces, they went on nicely and very quickly. Now I am able to glide most of the pieces along with ease - without scratching the floors. You do have to watch if you decide to push furniture with these on. If you push it too far, sometimes a sock can slip off -- but not very often - and only for the heavier pieces with thin legs. But they are very well made and I liked them so much I bought another package for lighter furniture that is easy enough to lift - like dining room chairs - just in case someone accidentally pushes them as opposed to lifting.I really like the color!! - so even as cute as they are, I like that they are almost invisible for my dark furniture pieces.

I saw these on a friend's chairs. It made me laugh at first but every time I hear people push back in their chairs and it sounds like grinding the floor it makes me cringe. These glide very smoothly and are thick. Not sure they are the best looking thing out there..but was a quick solution that can last.I used to buy those felt pads and GORILLA glue them down carefully but they always pop of here and there. If you are tired of being defeated- get these for a quick resolve and save your floors.

We've had our dining chairs through several moves. Sometimes on rugs, sometimes on hardwoods. So they've had felt, had felt removed, had felt put back on, etc. This has created a sticky mess that even sanding hasn't helped with. We really like our chairs and wanted to keep them. I had actually gathered our own socks and put them on as a temporary solution before thinking "I'll bet if I thought to put socks on my chair legs, someone else has, too, and went the extra mile to MAKE socks for chairs. Let me check Amazon." Sure enough, there they were! So far, holding up well. I still have felt underneath the socks because I thought removing the felt would create sticking problems for the socks. This combination has my chairs gliding well on our hardwoods. And today my visiting nephew-in-law mentioned that he might switch to socks because their dog gets ahold of the felt and chews on them. Neat product!

Not quite as durable as needed for dinette chair tips. Heavy use chairs wore thru.

I got so tired of picking up the "discs" that one uses for the chair legs to slide quietly on hard surface floors. The adhesive just doesn't last. These "socks" are super easy to slide on the chair legs and a bonus is that you can wash them!!!They make the chairs quiet while sliding on the hard surface. I did keep the adhesive backed discs on the legs so that when company comes I can slide the "socks" off.To me they are perefct for everyday use but lets face it, who wants socks on furniture you picked for comfort and design so I just take them off.

They slide off easily. After one wash one of them had a hall at the seam. Also the pill after washing. I didn’t put them in the dryer because I was afraid they would shrink.

I ordered bottom caps for my chairs as we have hardwood floors and I didn't want them scratched with the chairs moving across the floor numerous times a day. I wasted a lot of money buying items that did not work. The table and chair legs of my set gradually increase in size as you move up to the seat. I found it very difficult (and frustrating) trying to find something that would work. These "chair sox" are perfect. They are easy to put on and launder well. I love them.

Buy twice as many than you need because they will wear out over time. However, these are great and WILL save your floors. For our chairs, they are a bit big and don’t fit snuggly and often times fall off. For our table with 2” legs they fit very well. They are cloth, go on easily and do wear out and get holes over time. But they are the best floor protectors I have seen and will continue to buy them

Good Value for a product out of China. Usually products produced in China are inferior in quality. Cheap but INFERIOR !

Very good. Stay on well. My chairs have 2 different size legs (thinner in front than On back legs) and it fit both fine

You put them on and they stayed on unlike the sticky ones that fall off and the glue sticks to the floor.

Much better thank sticky felt pads that never stayed on for long!
