Manfrotto 504HD, Pro Video Head, Variable Fluid Drag System, 75mm Ball, Illuminated Levelling Bubble, for Professional Video, Videography

Being used to systems that are 10x more expensive I was amazed when I had to use a hired one of these on a foreign shoot. I expected it to be clunky and hard to use but was happy to get a smooth movement from it and there are some nice features. Especially for big handed people like myself. Bought this one as a replacement for Vinten Vision head with broken tilt lock that was going to cost more to repair than buy this head.

A budget head that is actually quite good for DSLR and light DV cameras. Not to be confused with the 502 head which looks quite similar but is far from an equivalent performer.

Set up is easy, particularly when using the illuminated bubble level. Super smooth in operation, and the bridge system ensures that the head / camera/ monitor etc never topples forwards or backwards

Jaja - ok ... nach oben gibt es ja (Sachtler, Vinten, Panther usw.) keine Grenzen. Aber für mich war die Anschaffung des Manforto 504HD eben doch schon eine kleine Investition. Allerdings ein gute.Ich hatte das Problem, daß mein VideoRig mit gut 4,5 Kilogramm Gewicht mit "normalen" Fluidköpfen einfach nicht mehr richtig zu handeln war. Mit dem Manfrotto 504HD sind diese Probleme nun gelöst. Er ist fein auf das Gewicht einstell- und tarierbar.Mit einem zweiten Handgriff auf der linken Seite des Kopfs bekommt man auch bei "voller Action" tolle und geschmeidige Schwenks hin. Die Fernbedienung für die Panasonic GH-Kameras oder die Hinterkamera-Fernbedienung für die Sony CX900 kann man problemlos an die Schwenkgriffe montieren und hat jederzeit alles unter Kontrolle.

ライブのリハーサルの撮影時、それまで使ってきていたManfrotto プロフルードビデオ雲台 75mmボール MVH502A がパンの時に、かすかに歯車の噛み合わせが悪いような、小さくカクカクとした振動が手に伝わる状態になっていることに気が付いた。微細な引っ掛かりだが、映像にもそのぎこちない動きが映ってしまう。何だこれは？今までいろいろなメーカーの三脚ヘッドを使ってきたがこんな状態になったのは初めてで、ライブ本番を一週間後に控えていただけに非常に困惑した。そこで、急遽注文購入したのが本製品だった。乗せるのはCanonのHF-G10かG20なのでバランスが取れるのかどうか少々心配ではあったが実際に使用してみたら、これがもう見事な操作感で自分の腕前が上がったのかと誤解してしまうくらい良かった。自前のものとしては最新型だったMVH502Aのは、今回の事象が見られる前から、動きの滑らかさ以外のところでいろいろ問題があるヘッドだったが本製品は少なくとも、MVH502Aで感じた不満点すべてを吹き飛ばしていた。その分値段も張るのだが、値段分の仕事はしてくれると思う。G10やG20クラスのカメラをお持ちで、より高い品位のカメラワークを求めている方にもうってつけのヘッドだと思う。
