I am very impressed with this repair kit, i moved my cooker across the kitchen and one of the plastic feet broke, i was left with a triangular shaped tear, 6cm long on each of the two torn sides of the triangle.I've never needed to repair vinyl flooring before and stumbled across this product on Amazon following a speculative search to see if there was anything i could use.To be honest, given the price was sub £12 i wasn't really expecting much but at that price i thought why not at least try it.I am so glad i did, even though the repair was my first attempt I'm amazed at the result i got... one side of the tear is barely visible and the other, unless you knew it was there is also as good as invisible.The only downside i can think of is "Step 3" in the instructions, it ought to be clearer that the 'powder hardener' is only required when repairing a hard surface such as a dashboard.Other than that even the instructions are relatively clear, if read carefully.After applying adhesive to glue the tear and surrounding areas back down i left alone for 24 hours to let the adhesive set.Next day i set about the repair, it took about an hour, mainly because of the size of the tear being almost 12cm and i went in increments of 1-2cm at a time for the heat curing process (i.e. I applied the repair compound in one visit, and returned in stages to apply the heat treatment).I can't rate this product highly enough.

So far, seems to have done the job in repairing the rip in the kitchen vinyl, and you probably wouldn’t notice it was there, unless I pointed it out. The rip was also a good 6inches long.Adding the adhesive and mixing the right colour wasn’t too bad, although the application tool included could’ve been better, it’s basically an oversized plastic collar stiffener and very flimsy. But I found the heat treatment after to be quite tricky, again the tool provided wasn’t much use, I tried to heat it on the stove, and it basically caught fire. In the end I just used the Mrs’ hair dryer, but it took a fair while for the mixture to harden.

Although doesn’t perfectly blend it’s pretty close and no one to date has noticed the repairs. I managed to damage the lino accidentally a week after it was fitted so this was a godsend and my fiancé still doesn’t know

Terrible for small repair. Very difficult to use. Poor quality tools. Far to expensive for what you get.

Instructions provided were very easy to follow! I found the colour match simple (though I do have a grey vinyl)! Can’t afford to replace the floor so this was a great find!Followed the instructions given so cleaned the area, applied the glue and left to dry for an hour, then mixed the colour…Used my electric hob to heat the tool and it worked well (this wouldn’t work with a naked flame/ gas hob as the handle is wooden)The grain paper given was a near enough match,Overall I’m impressed with the finish, can’t comment on the longevity of the product but only time will tell!

Couldn't really get it to work, maybe my fault rather than the manufacturers

Having a family member move a fridge in their flat and leave multiple rips and gouges in the lino it looked beyond repair. I had a quick look and decided to give this a go. It took a while to apply given the number of damaged areas and the need to colour match against a wood grain effect floor. However, It was definitely worth the effort, I found myself losing track of the repairs the result was so good. I used the small iron supplied and heated it on a gas stove before applying over the grain effect card.Absolutely one of the best DIY repair kits I've ever bought.

This relies on customer judgement, and possible waste of product to achieve the get right colour match. I would have appreciated a guide of achievable colour mixes.
