Galt Toys, Water Magic - ABC, Colouring Books for Children, Ages 3 Years Plus

Fantastic product, has kept all my children absorbed and entertained for ages. Thick board pages are durable and dry fairly quickly. Also great for travelling, take a sports cap bottle of water for refilling and your set, BUT the pen is far to scratchy and damages the pages very easily, especially if the water runs out. Young children will keep trying to colour and press harder and damage the book. A soft small paint brush or the aqua doodle pens are far better to use with these books, aqua doodle pens also come in different sizes so you can have large nibs for colouring and the fine ones for the number and letter books. The pens included are ok and don’t leak but are too hard. Shame Galt hasn’t addressed this problem as I’ve used these for years and the pens are the same.

My little one loves it.We had it on a delayed plane and he was entertained for ages and the heat meant that he didn't have to wait too long to repeat.Great for on the go. Only improvement would be a way to keep the pen together once it's pouch is opened.Best thing is he didn't even realise he was learning he was having too. Much fun

These water magic books are just perfect for small children. My daughter’s been using them since she was about 16 months (supervised due to small parts) and they’re great. No mess, easy to refill water pens, small enough to fit in a bag, can be used in the car, durable board pages, lovely bright images and can be used over and over. Big fans in my household - and I buy them for all my friends and family with little ones!

These books are v strong though theu would be better opening sideways, landscape, as it would give more room to go from left to right, and the pages could do with being bigger. Great idea and helpful for children learning to hold a pen. The tops are small n sharp, and my 3 yr old bit the pen and it cracked and broke.

These water magic sets are great. Just a bit of water in the pen and off we go.

Bought this for a 2& a half year old who sat down immediately and was instantly absorbed in ‘painting’. The educational bit works too, because he was telling his mum how clever he was doing lines and making the shapes of the letters. Nice sturdy book, good quality and the pens are easy for little hands to hold and manipulate. Having fun is the best way to teach small people anything. Will be buying the whole set.

My four year old grandson loves this. Well made and can be used over and over again.

Bought this book with the number version but this book is faulty- when you add the water pen it rubs off the coating permanently- I know it shouldn’t do this as the other book works perfectly. I bought this for my 3yo to take into hospital and he loved it- was a perfect and mess free/ contained activity. I will be returning the faulty book in the hope that a replacement will not do the same
