It took me a little while to see how it worked.
I am old school and I remember the days when notebooks had 4 or 5 leds on the bottom and a button you could press to see your battery status but not anymore. So I bought this lead in the hope it would show me something from which I could derive the charge status and it does but how it does it is by showing you the current the device is drawing which when it shows 0.0 means it fully charged bro it does give me the info I wanted if in a roundabout way, but the plugs are quality and it seems a good quality lead so I’m happy.

Good Quality Cable
Its really nice to see how the power is being devices. The port are bit tight. but i guess it great for the grip and sturdiness. I havent checked with data transferring but everything else seems to be working fine

Clear digital display
Good braided cable with a digital display. Reasonable price for what it is.

Quality Charging
I got the 4ft version of this cable which costs £7.99. While this may seem a bit pricey compared to other charging cables, this one does have a fancy LED display on it which tells you how much juice your device is pulling from the charger. The LED is a bit of a novelty I suppose, and not really necessary, but I found it interesting to see that some of my devices continue to draw power even when they have been fully charged, so I now make sure to unplug those as soon as they are a fully charged. If not for this cable giving me a visual clue I would probably not have bothered and left them wasting energy. The cable itself is sheathed with braided nylon for durability, and looks well made with good quality connectors. It's quite thin compared to my other USB C cables, which I suspect is due to that fact that it only supports data transfer at USB 2.0 speed, so requires fewer wires. Data transfer is a bonus feature for me. It's fine for small file transfers (music, photos), but that is all. The main use for this cable is charging, and for that purpose it's very good. it's rated to 100w which is nice if you have a charger and devices that can do that. My current devices top out at 30w, but I do have a 100w charger so if I every acquire a device that can pull 100w, I have a suitable cable.A fine cable if you don't need high speed data transfer.

Good quality lead, clever design
This is a very clever lead. It shows the charge status of the device you have plugged in to it. I notice it changes during charging, I guess depending on the charger as well as the current phone, tablet or charged device status. For example: when my laptop is plugged in but switched off, it just charges and shows a low value, but when I switch the laptop on, the value jumps up. I do seem to have trouble charging my Samsung mobile with this though. The figure shows 18w, but then drops to zero, then back up and so on. No idea why, because every other device I plug in charges fine and my mobile charges ok with its own lead.Anyway, for the price, it's a good lead which does work with everything else I have.

Good cable with Display for Wattage output
This is a handy cable to have that helps you see what Wattage is being output from your charger to your device.Normally I guess you'd have the standard of just seeing whether your phone says it's 'charging' or 'quick charging' and with some devices whether it is 'super fast charging'.This is particularly handy to test any third party chargers you may use. It worked well with a UGreen GaN charger and my Poco M4 Pro 4G although it wouldn't enter Mi Turbo Charging (33W - 11A x 3V), but did enter quick/fast charging at 25W which isn't too far off. To be honest I think Xiaomi's tech uses slightly different standards so I wasn't really expecting either charger or cable to make the device enter Mi Turbo Charging. The cable is well made and the USB-C connectors fit reasonably well. At the device end there is some slight sideways rocking.A good option if you want to know the specific wattage, otherwise your phone will tell you generically what type of charging mode it has entered anyway.

Good quality and supported super-fast charging on a Samsung
I have had this plugged into my computers USB-C port and my Samsung fast charger. I am not really sure what the real benefit is to see a digital display of the wattage, especially as it often flits between 2 numbers constantly whether the device is flat or fully charged. There is also a “pd” icon that lights up and I assume this is showing fast charging as it only showed on my Samsung phone and not other standard charge devices. It was a bit pointless for me as my Samsung tells me if it is fast or super-fast charging. The digital display is nice to have I guess, but if this is particularly important to you, then ‘buyer beware’ as to the stability and accuracy. Also note that this is shown as a USB 2.0 cable, so if you are also looking to use this for data transfer it may cause you some speed issues. I only use it for charging so not an issue for me.Despite what seems to be a pointless display, it is a very good quality braided cable and what I really liked about the one I had was that it was 10ft long, yet still supported super-fast charging on my phone. This is ideal for me as I can free up my bedside socket and use the next available one further away, but still use my phone in bed. For me it was worth it just for that.
