Great, same with the moisturising gold wash duo set. Glad it comes as a duo, makes wash day simpler and stress-free. It has a medicine like minty smell-menthol that I find so nice. And the sting of the menthol on the scalp is so soothing. Hair AND SCALP feels awoken and fresh. Love it! Make sure it does not go in your eyes, of not you will feel like the eyes have sucked in.

I have been experiencing dry cynical with dry patches. Ever since I’ve started using this it has stopped and my scalp has felt so much better in between washes. I can truly tell the difference from when I was using bad shampoos full of sulfates and unnecessary chemicals. Get it!

This is the best shampoo/conditioner that I've used for dry itchy hair.

I only go to my hair dresser every few months when I need my ends trimmed. This is the shampoo and conditioner she used on my hair and it has been the only thing that has helped with my extremely dry and itchy scalp. I am african-american and have chest-length s-pattern very dense hair. I was going to order this straight from the Keracare website for home use but saw that I could save $10 by ordering this pack from Amazon. I was a little wary because some of the newer reviews warned of black-capped bottles that had different ingredients and gave them different results. I took a chance anyway and I too received a pack with the black tops and different ingredients. I used it anyway. I used it a few times with different hairstyles before writing a review. The first time I used it, I quickly washed and conditioned my hair and went to get crochet braids. Usually I have to wash my hair once a week or my scalp itches intensely. But I had these braids in for a month before I got to that level of itchiness again. To be fair, I was also using the Keracare Glossifier on my scalp every couple of days and that came with a gold top with original ingredients. The second time I used this shampoo and conditioner I did a blow-out style where I wore a ponytail puff for one week then a bun for the next two weeks. I used a hooded dryer with the conditioner for about 20 minutes then rinsed it out. I went almost another month before my scalp got super itchy which is a miracle. I only used the glossifier maybe twice this time. The third time I used this combo, I used much more product and deep conditioned. My scalp and hair felt like heaven. It doesn't even feel that good when I get my hair done. My boyfriend came out of the bedroom and exclaimed, "It smells like Black Girl Magic out here!" I flat ironed my hair this time and noticed my hair had grown at least an inch since I've been using this product, only because I don't have to wash and blow dry my hair as often. I got so many compliments this week on how thick, shiny, and long my hair is. I am having great results with this product but next time I'd buy the legit gold tops and see if I have even better results! It looks like I'm going to get 2 more uses from these bottles, but keep in mind I have to use a LOT of product.

I must say, I have a love/hate relationship with this product. Love: It works! My scalp does not itch anymore and I'm flake free. Also enjoy the tingling sensation from the product :) Hate: The smell, ugh. It smells like straight up chemicals. And the conditioner leaves my hair feeling extremely stripped and dry though I only put it on my scalp. Even if I try putting my deep conditioner on after rinsing out the Keracare conditioner, it still feels massively dry. So, basically the product works, but I have to cut back on the conditioner, only using it once a week. The shampoo does a pretty good job though, still no itching or dandruff though I don't always use the conditioner.
