Tiny writing required!
A bit disappointed with this. There is a lot of information inside and plenty of different headings - but - and for me this is a big but - the space to write in is tiny. Almost impossible to write properly unless you have the tiniest, neatest writing. I would have given 5 stars had there been more space to write.

Very well made and thought out, great with the Psychological aspect of a diet and fitness program
This is a well thought out, designed and helpful journal. Not too big and not too small. It's full of helpful hints and tips, stacked with information and certainly helps with the diet side of training, which is often the most difficult aspect. It certainly helps with the psychological side when writing down food/calorie intake.I am happy with this product and writing everything down is now a daily part of my routine.

Very Motivational
This is the 3rd or 4th time I've bought this fitness journal. I find writing down my calories and the time I spend working out to be the only way I can really keep my motivation going. I have an app as well and its just not as motivating as writing everything out long hand.

Pleased with my purchase
This is a very sturdy journal which looks like it will stand up well to being used and carried round in my handbag. The paper is good quality and the sections aren't too small. I just hope i use it and lose some weight!

Useful record
I dont fill every detail in (calories, grams of fat etc) but do list what I have eaten and what exercise I have done. Any book would work as well, but this one feels and looks good and has some really useful information too

Meh
Very small parts for you to write in, not enough pages of dairy - it's more trying to get you to follow their plan. BUT if it gets you tracking your food and calories then it's worth it. For me I was majorly disappointed.

Excellent fitness journal
Very detailed and well compiled fitness diary. Good quality and well laid out. Space for everything from food eaten, macro figures, workout regimes and times, down to mood and energy level indicators.

Great diary for fitness and food intake
Great diary for fitness and food intake. I use this as a food diary for the hospital as i'm in my 30's and have had swallow difficulties and a swollen throat. So for me trying to help the doctors for any food triggers is really important to me.

Diario de seguimiento de dieta y ejercicio (en inglés)
Tipo de opinión: Libro comprado y pagado por mí (opinión libre de patrocinadores).El libro está en inglés, pero con indicaciones tanto en sistema métrico como imperial (no hay problema para usarlo si tienes algún conocimiento de inglés). Tamaño: 12,5x19x2,5 cm (tamaño medio entre un A6 y un A5). Precio: poco más de 10€. Para empezar, he cogido la versión dieta + ejercicio, pero hay cuadernos similares para sólo ejercicio, y no sé si también habrá para sólo dieta. A valorar cada cual.El interior se corresponde justamente a las imágenes facilitadas por Amazon: un breve texto introductorio al principio (36 páginas), explicando conceptos dietéticos y cómo utilizar el libro, y una serie de páginas dobles estilo "libro de cuentas" para apuntar los datos de cada día: A la izquierda la comida (desayuno, almuerzo, cena y 3 meriendas entre comidas), y la derecha ejercicios de cardio y musculación. Además del tiempo y calorías, la tabla cuenta con bastantes casillas para rellenar, incluidos vasos de agua, verduras, estados de ánimo, suplementos y notas. Muy completito.Cada 7 días hay un análisis de la semana: peso, colesterol, azúcar, medidas del cuerpo, notas y objetivos (a comparar con la semana anterior). Y una página de texto motivador-informativo.Y a partir de la página 261 hay un apéndice con calorías de ciertos alimentos (recordemos, en inglés), y algo de espacio para notas. Así que el conjunto está muy completito, y parece que da para bastantes días. No está fechado, y hay espacio para poner tu propia fecha.Cosas que me gustan:- Tapas duras, con cierre de goma y una banda naranja de portada extraíble, por si no quieres ir mostrando al mundo que estás a dieta. La encuadernación interior es con muelle.- Papel muy gordito (¡un lujo!). Nada que ver con los diarios de 70 gramos. Se puede escribir a boli.- Medidas y peso bastante manejables para llevar en una mochila o bolso grandecito.- Muchos cuadritos de información para completar. Más de los que voy a usar. :-)- La mayoría del cuaderno es para rellenar. La información complementaria es reducida y concisa. Sin muchos rollos.Cosas que no me gustan tanto:- Echo de menos una página de "situación inicial": lo mismo que hay semana a semana, pero con los datos de partida.- Como se dice en muchas de las opiniones en inglés, el espacio para escribir es MUY pequeño. Hace falta un rotulador de punta 0,4 y tener la letra muy pequeña. Para que os hagáis una idea, el alto de fila de las tablas es de 4 mm, y algunas columnas sólo tienen 5,5 mm de ancho. No es apto para personas que no tengan buena vista y/o paciencia para hacer la letra chiquitina. Es el inconveniente obvio de combinar muchas cositas para rellenar en un libro compacto.Conclusión: A falta de empezar a darle uso y ver la resistencia al manejo, me ha parecido una muy buena compra. Los inconvenientes los conocía por las opiniones de Amazon.com, y ha sido una buena sorpresa el hecho de que venga con tan buen papel. Sería bueno que hubiera una versión "senior", con letras y casillas para escribir más grandes.

A Must Have
This is definitely a "must-have" if you need some structure in order to lose weight. I like that it also includes an entry for the time you eat.I have tried to use Fitness Pal alone, but this in conjunction with Fitness Pal app keeps me more in-line with my calorie/exercise goals.I really like the weekly review page. It allows you to assess your numbers from the previous week and determine whether you made positive strides or what you need to refocus/set new goals on.The only con I saw is that you have to write really small, so purchase a fine-tip pen; otherwise, not enough space.

Easy, small, and helpful
I bought this book in person a few years ago and it helped me keep my diet and choices under control. I had to get it again because it was so effective.Pros:- lots of information on healthy options, exercise, and well being- weekly place to leave your weight and measurements- clear framework for journaling- convenient size- unmarked cover for discretionCons:- small writing spaces- weekly weigh-in is at the end of the week instead of the beginning (I would prefer it at the beginning)- No bookmark connected so finding your page may be a little annoying

This is the second time I have used this book, and I absolutely love it. I don't use it with a weight loss goal, more to be mindful of my healthy eating and regular exercise. I love that it is small enough to fit in my purse, and the front is plain black. The spine has the name of the book, but it's small enough that if you're carrying it around in your bag, you're not announcing to the world that you're on a diet. The only thing I would like to see changed is some sort of page marker to keep track of where you are in the book. Right now, I just use a paperclip.

Better than an I pad...
A Great little book. Everything to keep you on a lifestyle change. Requires you to print small, remember printing ?, but it has work out space , food log, with appendix at back giving food values. Check boxes for water serving, fruit and veg. I need this. All on 1 page it's great.

The search is over
This book is amazing!! It's simple easy to use and small and compact. Plus it give you extra information about fitness and nutrition which most books don't give you and it came within a couple days of placing my order. I have been looking for a good fitness book for myself for years and I finally found it. I highly recommend this book for any fitness lovers!!

I use it more than myfitnesspal pal
This thing is great, keeps you motivated, and has lots of great reading material. I know there are apps for your phone like myfitnesspal but if you leave this by your fridge, you won't "forget" to fill it out every day.Will buy again when this is filled out!

Ich liebe mein Food Diary
Ich bin total begeistert von diesem Journal. Die wichtigen Makronährstoffe werden getrackt und das Führen ist wirklich einfach. Tolle Zusätze wie z.B. Kästchen zum Abhaken pro Wasserglas machen es einem Einfach am Ball zu bleiben, genügend zu trinken etc.

Good Amazon delivery once again
Good Amazon delivery once again. I have used this journal for 7 years now to keep my nutrition on track. I wish it had a cholesterol column ( I add it myself) preprinted. Its easy to customize for your own personal use. Getting more expensive all the time.

So Good I Bought it Twice!
I love this tracker (even though I never end up using it very strictly) it is the best one I have ever found.

Very easy to complete
Very easy to complete. Unfortunately, when I have more than 6 items for meals I have to put another sheet in. There is not enough space. Maybe food log should have been extended on 2 pages per day. But I really love the concept.

Would have been better to dedicate 1
Spaces to write are too small. Would have been better to dedicate 1.5 pages to meals and 1/2 page to exercise. I will use it but wont rebuy.

Great for progress tracking
Really good journal for keeping track of your macros and workouts. It makes it very easy to analyze your progress on a daily and weekly basis.

Small handwriting only
I like the size because it is portable, so easy to carry with you to update when you have time. However because it is small it is hard to find enough space to write.
