Excellent Quality but awkward to use
I do like this device but to use it you have to turn your hand in a awkward position. I also find when using it, the blades stick together and you have to use your other hand to free it being stuck. I am going to look for an alternative device to use in the near future.

Nick in the blades.
When the shears arrived they were not latched and fully closed allowing damage to the cutting edge during shipping. I smoothed it out some with a knife sharpener but it can still be felt while using. Other than that I like them.

Watch out for the rust!
They start rusting quickly. Buy ONLY if you do not mind oiling them after every use. I am returning them and ordering large stainless steel kitchen scissors.

Best grass clipper I've used
If you have ever owned a pair of those grass scissor-clippers, the kind that rotates from vertical to horizontal, I think you will like these clippers much better. I had an old pair of the rotating kind, and frankly I gave up on them a long time ago. They didn't cut much, and then just modest amounts of grass. I still have mine and don't even know exactly where they are, it's been so long since I enjoyed their frustrating use.I just received these Corona Clippers in the mail, and decided to try them out. They are heavy, but not so heavy that they make my arm tired.I like the fact that I can switch to the other hand when one arm gets tired, as I'm ambidextrous and it's real convenient for me.They will cut most small stuff except for wood. (well, I didn't expect they'd cut wood anyway)I like the solid cut they provide, right down to the ends of the blades. You can snip by the ends or cut the entire length of the blade, either works just fine. The spring is pretty firm, however for a woman I have large hands so it's not much of a bother for me, but I can surmise that a smaller-handed person might have issues with it.Anyway, these have more than met my expectations, and I'm a very happy camper. I definitely won't "lose" these!

Best clioppers ever!!
I am a strange lady and I love to edge my lawn by hand. All the neighbors with their power trimmers have all offered to edge my lawn for me when they see me trimming it on my hands and knees. But seriously, it's my zen. I just love it. For 20 years now, I have used Fiskars that I pick up at Lowe's. Even though I sharpen the blades every single time I use them, I find I have to replace them every 4 or 5 years. Plus, as I get older carpal tunnel has set in and trimming has become painful. I purchased these to replace my 4th pair of Fiskars and I am amazed! These are sturdy, strong, and cut grass like nobody's business. Even thick hard patches of weeds trim away like butter. I cannot say enough wonderful things about these clippers. They are the bomb!! Good bye Fiskars!

Precision cuts
For hand trimming they cannot be beat. Stay sharp and work well. To keep them working well make sure to clean prior and after each use to ensure a good cutting edge and smooth operation.

Brilliant piece of gear
Awesome tool for the task of manual grass cutting.Tough, cutting very well, it will definitely last.Appears to be high carbon steel, which is an excellent choice as it could be easily re-sharpened.Due to this choice of steel it will rust if you leave it to the elements, and I suppose that was what the folks, complaining here of the rust, have done. Just take care of it and will take care of the job.Highly recommend.

You can use it even if you have some arthritis in your hands.
I clip shrubs and smaller twigs with this shear. My husband has only given it a sharper edge once.Clean it after each use, to avoid build-up of gunk on the blades.

A solid, versatile if rustic looking tool
Heavy shears with non flex blade. Seem tough, easy to sharpen. Design seems rustic but tried

Rusted in less than a month.
Never even had a chance to use them. I kept them in my shed for less than a month and they are completely rusted.
