These make terminating cables so much easier
Much more straightforward and saves a lot of time than using traditional RJ45 plugs. Just make sure you have the right tool to crimp them as you need one that will trim the excess wires off as you crimp it

Very good product but the boots are solid plastic not flexible for some reason
The boots are solid plastic and not flexible for some reason very hard to fit on Cat 6 solid copper core. Also I don't think you would be able to push them all in at one time, I stripped the wires all back about 60mm and straightened them (very important) then pushed one at the time through and it seams to work every time. I cut the ends of with a small pair of side cutters with a CK pair of crimpers, all worked fine.

Easy to check you have the cores in the right order
Far easier to use than standard 'closed-ended' RJ45 connectors where tow things are difficult to achieve; firstly, getting all the cores in the correct order to align with each terminal as they are so small and there is such a small area to see them once they are inserted that it can be easy to crimp the connector with then mis-aligned. Secondly, trimming all the cores to the same length is essential with the standard connectors so that they all come to rest exactly in line at the end of the plug and whilst you can trim them easily before they enter the plug, they have a tendency to then change alignment such that the odd core can become slightly shorter and not reach the end of the plug in line with the other cores leaving doubt that they will all connect when crimped. These 'open-ended' connectors overcome this as you can set the order, trim them roughly in line with each other, pass them all the way through the plug and then check the order and accurately trim them just over-length, ease them back to sit flush with the plug end and then crimp them. I achieved a positive connection with every one I used and did not need to re-make any ends, whereas this is commonplace with the standard connectors. I would always use this type of connector in future.

CAT6 the easy way
I am not a cable expert and have a very cheap cable kit so I could spend more on the cable. I have 200m of CAT 6 cable and alot of end to add and wanted a simple way to do it. These ends allow the cables to pass through the ends so you can check the cables are in the right order before crimping saving hours of frustration and headaches. Great idea for any novice or beginner who wants to network cable for themselves.

The rudest delivery driver ever

A fantastic Fail Safe connector, but not so sure on the EZ
I'm no expert or professional at making ethernet connections, but also no novice - having made a good 20+ Cat6 cables in the past for around the home. With traditional RJ45 connectors, you can sometimes make seemingly perfect plugs - that work and pass the test, but later discover one of the wires didn't get pushed all the way to the end and (after some movement along the cable) that one of the wires slipped down and was never quite making full contact with its copper pin.Solution? Save yourself all the hassle - Buy yourself some professionally ready made cables! Heh.OR....Try these EZ Platinum connectors.I was hoping that these would be, not only the answer to my (sometimes) failed connector, but would also speed up the the entire process of making a cable with the simplicity of passing through the wires, crimping and then trimming them. I can do a normal RJ45 connection from stripping a cable to crimping in 5-6 minutes. These EZ connectors should make the process quicker - right?Reality is that you get a trade off.Yes, once you have threaded through the wires, you can easily confirm that they are in the correct order. And because the wires pass all the way through the EZ RJ45 connector, you know that once it's been crimped, those individual wires are making full contact with each respective copper pin. All you then have to do is trim off the excess and away you go!However, it's getting to that stage that's the problem. As mentioned, I've made 40+ individual RJ45 connections in the past with no initial problems and I played around with some trial assemblies of these EZ connectors - but each EZ plug has taken me about 4-6 attempts before managing to get the wires through without them coming out in the wrong order or one or two simply getting squished or curled up inside when pushing them through. It helps having a substantial amount of wire length to play with (a minimum of 35-40mm) - resulting in a lot more wastage than when using a traditional RJ45 plug. I've tried spraying them, cutting them flush before inserting them and even at a 45 degree angle in the hope of finding a smooth technique. Clearly there is a knack to the process, but so far not one that I've found - and currently taking 2-3 times as long as I normally would do compared with the non-EZ variety.[Photos taken are of various try-outs]Conclusion is that I wouldn't be so quick to recommend these as 'EASY' connectors, but I would do so as 'FAIL SAFE' connectors. Once the wires are through and it's been crimped - you know you've got a secure and long lasting connector - Is that a trade off that matters to you?UPDATE: 2 years on from since first using these, I have not had a single failure in loose wires. Still a pain in trimming off the excess once crimped (without the proper tool), but 100% reliable. Have actually now replaced nearly all my older style connectors with these pass through connectors!

Excellent and easy.
These are excellent and so much easier that those that don’t have the pass through. My sanity saved and so much quicker. I have wired the whole house with cat 6 and these cut the project time in half. Highly recommend.

Great alternative to more expensive brands
Works great with my Klein pass through crimping tool. Would recommend over buying the first party ones.

Surprise Strain Relief!
So, I know platinum connector as a good product from IT people ive chatted with. I was super happy to see that the product I chose came with strain relief (and good ones). I guess I could have read the description better, but I am super happy with my stable ethernet connection and knowing that I wont need to re-run cables for 20 years.
