I AM IN A NEW HOME AND THE BIRDS SEEM TO LIKE MY COVERED PATIO AND LEAVE QUITE A MESS BEHIND. THESE PAPER OWLS HAVE WORKED PERFECTLY IN KEEPING THE BLACK BIRDS AWAY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO YOU AS THEY WERE INEXPENSIVE AND VERY EFFECTIVE. I WOULD BUY AGAIN AS THEY HAVE EVEN HELD UP TO THE SUMMER HEAT AND SUNLIGHT.

They are made of flimsy plastic that do absolutely nothing to prevent the squirrels from going into our pergola. They have been hanging for less than 24 hours and the squirrels are just going around the. They are completely useless and a total waste of money.

I had a woodpecker issue. I think they are working to deter them from pecking at my house. The reason for 4 stars...very light and have figure out how to keep them from "flying away". (Lol)

Love these… they scare away the birds that kept nesting in my awning, I tried lots of other means with no luck…I am so pleased!!!

Unfortunately, it did not impress the birds I meant for them to frighten. I hung them on my plants; I also put one on a limb near the hanging plants; and the third one I put near a column, so it wasn't easy to tell he was flat. The annoying finches, that were supposed to be scared, did not even notice them... even the wrens and neighbor's cat were not alarmed...it was a neat idea, and they are great photos of owls, but they are flat, and no one believed... will keep them just because the photo is so good... meanwhile, the struggle with the finches goes on...

These owls are great, they keep the birds from building nests on the overhang of my house!!
