Bought this and discovered as others said that the (male) tail is about 2 mm too short to suit the hozelock connector. (It wont keep connector open inside to let water flow unless to keep holding it tight in with your other hand ) So i got a little metal washer the same size as tail and just dropped the washer into connector in front of the tail- (to extend the tail so it opens the value) shoving tail in as normal then. So far it's worked a treat ! Let's see will it last. Other than that the gun feels heavy and sturdy but the frost might be a problem because of that - frost loves metal! Rubbery ring on top of gun great idea for protection dropping it. (It will happen sooner ir later) Hozelock gun broke its head cos of that.

Needed to replace an old metal Hozelock spray gun which had succumbed to hard water and living outdoors all its life, resulting in an inability to completely shut off the flow of water. Bought this as a Warehouse item, so at £15 I was pleased to see good all metal construction aside from the dial bezel, which is a rubbery type material. Reasonable weight, and good range of spray patterns. Fits into the hozelock quick connector on the end of my hose and doesn't dribble or weep. People say they find it leaks - if the quick connector is old and worn, they will leak and it is not always the fault of the spray gun. Only downsides for me are the trigger is held onto the body of the gun with an elongated rivet and there is more play in that than I'd like, resulting in the trigger wobbling from side to side a bit. Other thing is there is no flow control - so it's either on or off, but I knew that when buying and its not a fault of the product. Overall, reasonable value for money (maybe less so at full price) and we will have to see how long it lasts, but provided it's kept indoors during freezing weather and isn't abused, it should do a few years service - I'll update this if anything bad happens!

I've had several plastic nozzles from the well known brand and all have failed in one way or another. Thought I'd try a different make and this seems much sturdier. Time will tell of course, but I'm hopeful! Good choice of spray patterns.

I bought this to replace a Hoselock spray which had split in the cold weather. I thought a metal one would be OK. The instructions tell you not to leave it outside in frosty weather because the cold would make the item brittle and liable to break. I haven't used it yet.

Our hose sprayer finally died last winter so we thought to spend a little morevand go metal! Best decision so far! Build quality is amazing - spray options are also! Water pressure seems to be greater too. The mister is ideal for plants If your sprayer has died go for this one!

From the moment the product was purchased it leaked. Having replaced all the washers the spray worked ok, however, if you turn the selector anti-clockwise it would come loose. If you turn it clockwise it would overtighten. This results in a rubber grommet splitting, and then the spray gun will not work and leak. It has not been possible to make or buy a replacement grommet. As such, this is another product heading for the bin after less than 6-months use (well, a couple of months if you consider the wet summer this year).

With the sprinkler head being made of metal feels sturdy but still light to hold. Good variety of spray options, easy to rotate head. Disappointed that there is some leakage of water from head on a couple of the sprays which is bit annoying. There appeared to be a couple of spare washers in the box but they didn’t work at all made leakage worse.

Ne vous faites pas avoir !!!!

Die Brause ist sehr stabil verarbeitet und hält, was sie verspricht – kein Tropfen, keine Undichtigkeit. Die Sprühbilder sind vielseitig und leicht einstellbar. Leider liegt sie bei längerem Gebrauch durch das Gewicht nicht besonders ergonomisch in der Hand.
