Coco: Miguel and the Grand Harmony

Matt de la Pena is a genius. This is such a beautiful book! If you thought the movie was good, you will be pleasantly surprised that this book is even BETTER! This one will be in the family for generations to come along with all of Matt's other books. If you have not heard of him, check out anything he has written. You will not be disappointed!

Great story and lovely illustrations! I originally saw the book on display in a store in California Adventure park and Disneyland. Purchased for my classroom and my kinders and 1st graders loved the story.

Great book for any Coco fan or music lover. My 2 year old son loves it! The artwork is great as well.If you loved the movie, this short story tells of how Miguel found the guitar he uses in the attic.

We saw the movie, and our daughter fell in love. She got this book for Christmas, and we've read it every night since then. The story is a modified version of the movie plot, but still wonderful... and the illustrations are fantastic.

Such a wonderful precursor to Coco. Emotionally appropriate for all ages. Illustrations are gorgeous and story is very interesting. We loved it!

This is kind of a bizarre book because is told since the Harmony point of view, but it makes it more interesting; it gives some info we can’t find in the movie about Miguel, the work is really beautiful and is narrated wonderfully too.
