Love these kits brings back memories

I cannot fault the overall product. As with all Tamiya cars the finish is fantastic, the kit and instructions are very comprehensive and the availability of "hop-up" options is almost limitless.However, the listing clearly stated that the car comes with a Tamiya tble02s esc. This esc is capable of driving both brushed and brushless motors. When the kit arrived it had included a Carson Dragster 70A esc. Although a very good and reliable esc it is only for brushed motors.I approached Amazon customer service with this and the only option they could offer me was to send it back for a refund. I had already built the car by this stage so I was not prepared to go that route.It now means I have to source a different esc to be able to run the brushless set up I had planned for this car. Obviously I could have sourced a kit cheaper without an esc if I knew that I would have to replace it before first being able to run it.Not overly impressed.So just be careful of what the listing says before ordering.

Awesome Christmas present for my 13 year old son. He's had a very good go at building it himself, with a little guidance and assistance from me when needed. Its just been finished and we're going to test it out this weekend.Don't forget that you will need additional parts to complete the kit. I bought the starter kit (battery/charger/steering/remote) at almost £100 which was more than I expected it to be.

This is a great kit, a lot of fun to build and to run.
