Amtech J0510 Heavy Duty Wheel clamp

Bought this to secure my motorbike trailer, the amazon advert made no mention of the size of wheels this is suitable for. Unfortunately its too big for my trailer wheels. It is however well made, easy to assemble and looked fairly robust a great buy at the price.10/10 to amazon for there nice and simple returns policy they made the process of returning this and ordering a more suitable one very easy.

Nice solid construction and easy to use - once I figured out the best way to avoid contact with the wheel arch when applying and removing it. I feel self-conscious when putting it on my car's rear wheel, but I'd rather feel stupid than find the wheels all nicked in the morning. It's probably more of a visual deterrent than a practical one, but I feel more relaxed knowing that it's glaringly obvious when my car is standing on the drive overnight. Yes, I am probably paranoid, but I'm very happy with this purchase.PS: Another reviewer calls it "lightweight", but I disagree. It seems pretty heavy and solid to me.Months later: the big rectangular section is losing its colour over time. It's now much paler than when delivered.

Quite possibly the worst wheel clamp ever, purchased on 4th June 2017, arrived shortly after, assembly was a doddle once I'd found a spanner. Fitting was easy however removal has always been a little awkward, well you don't want it too easy now do you, but when trying to remove it for the 3rd time in less than 8 weeks the key has snapped in the lock rendering my caravan immobile which is kind of what it's intended to do just not after trying to remove it. Now I'm stuck all packed with 3 very disappointed kids and a holiday I've paid for but can't use

Got this for my caravan which has 13" wheels. It fitted fine and seemed sturdy enough but the barrel lock kept falling out, as a result the clamp was removable in a matter of seconds without needing the key. Returned it and got a Maypole one instead which was more expensive but works much better. Given two stars as maybe I just got a faulty one and it was easy enough to fit.

A budget clamp which almost does the job. Tthe main problem being when trying to lock, the small locking pin does not easily engage in the hole on the sliding bar. Takes me over 5 minutes to lock it every time, which is a real pain. Its cheap but it should be better than this.

Lightweight quick and easy to fit. High profile when fitted and is a good deterrent. Can easily be carried in the car boot to use if you are going to park in any dodgy areas.

Didn't fitcaravan wheel, too chunky

There were no dimensions displayed in the onsite catalogue, so when it arrived it was too large for my trailer. Disappointed by the attitude of the supplier when trying to arrange a return, he expected me to pay all of the carriage costs, including his P&P.
