Awesome grip.
Ordered this for the Canon R6 mark ii. The camera no longer feels like a kid’s toy being so small. Works amazing and with two batteries, I don’t think too much about battery life during a shoot. All controls are good, just takes a little to develop muscle memory for them, but laid out well.

Works great, really happy with it. Perfect to pair with heavy lenses.
Wow, third party grips have really come a long way. I haven't had a battery grip on my camera since the 5D Mark II, and back then the quality of third party grips was pretty suspicious. Canon recently had a killer sale on their refurbished RF 28-70 F2 lens, but sadly that lens is extremely unbalanced on the R6mkII if you don't have a grip on it, thus why this one was purchased. This Neewer replica of the BG-R10 really surprised me with how nice it is. It pretty much feels like the R6mkII texture wise, and it fits without a hitch. I have a wrist strapped attached to it for security and have controlled it both normally and vertically and haven't had any issues with either orientation. The battery tray is interesting in that the batteries aren't on the same level, but it looks like that's the design of the BG-R10 in general and not unique to the Neewer. Overall at about 40% the price of the OEM BG-R10 this grip has been an incredible value. It feels like a legitimate OEM copy and hasn't given me any issues yet. The Canon RF 28-70 is a lot easier to handle with this on it.

Perfect Budget alternative to the $300 Canon
There were mixed reviews on this. From the battery tray design, to the texture different and even jog dial quality. For the price I paid and 3 weeks of hard use, I don’t have any complaints. Yes, there is a texture difference. Very slightly. Yes, the color is slightly off compared to my 1 year old R6ii. Yes, the shutter button and dials feel different. Yes, I saved $250. It does the job. I shoot lots of basketball and needed a bit more ergonomic help when shooting portrait orientation. The ease of swapping between portrait and landscape without contorting my already arthritic wrists, make it comforting. Note: I’m no pro photographer, just an athletic booster club parent volunteer for my sons high school. Pros: Cost Quality compared to cost Cons: And this is a minor con, the battery tray latch, feels a bit too flimsy. Any extra effort to turn the locking dial, could result in having the batteries trapped. Just be careful when turning and you’re fine.

It functions. Thin plastic.
It works well on my Canon R6 mark ii. The plastic is very thin - almost brittle- especially on the battery drawer. It took a while to get the grip seated properly so the buttons would function. NEEWER could step up their quality a bit.

Can't endorse this
I was very excited to get this unit. Ordered in January and just now getting around to using it. Was easy to put on and worked fine for a week. I went to take the batteries out and charge and the latch will not turn and now I have two new batteries stuck in this unit and no working trigger! Not sure what happened but the latch will not turn and I cannot open to get my batteries out and basically a dead in the water grip! I have contacted customer support. Waiting to see what they say to try and fix this.

Good quality for the price
Great quality. My batteries fit well and last. It's a comfortable grip. I'd buy it again.

Works great on both my R5 and R6 Mark II
I have 2 of these grips, as the same model is used on both my R5 and R6 Mark II. They are great with no issues with performance or fit on either body. I like the battery holder design where the batteries are held in with a locking tab on the side of the battery tray for each battery location vice friction fit like in the grip for my 6D Mark II. I'd like to point out to the reviewer who made an issue about the battery electrical contact not making contact the spring in the battery tray at each battery location (with a series of 3 photos to emphasize this fact) that this spring is NOT an electrical contact, but rather an 'ejection' spring to help remove the battery from the tray when the small lever on the side is actuated. It isn't supposed to contact the battery electrically. This grip is hefty but not heavy, provides a full-size grip, especially on my R6 Mark II where without the grip, I could almost hold the plain grip end of the camera in the palm of my hand and my hands are not huge but large. Without the grip, I had nothing to put my little finger or ring finger on to hold to. The connections from the grip to the body are much better in my opinion than I've seen on older grips for other bodies. The battery connection at the top of the grip insert is exactly like the LP-E6xxx format rather than a bunch of metal prongs sticking up and making contact. Also, the switch connection is made through a medium sized plug on the side of the grip insert into a socket in the battery compartment, again not through a bunch of metal prongs. All in all, a more robust design, I feel. The grip copies all the standard switches and control wheels as on the camera, so muscle memory is almost duplicated in the placement of the controls for those shooters who use back button focus like I do. There is a slight difference in the exact positions by the overall pattern is duplicated sufficiently enough to make it workable, in my opinion. All in all, I feel this grip is a suitable replacement for the very expensive Canon model. So far, neither body has complained or failed to work with it.

good product. good working.

Really good quality grip. Cheaper than its Canon original and does the same job. Very happy with this purchase.
