I love this for travel
I need a stick to help me walk, but traveling with one is a pain. I love the way this one collapses and folds up. It fits in my purse. This is so helpful, especially at airports because it's one less thing I need to deal with getting on the plane. It's super easy to put together and take apart and very sturdy.

Amazing Walking Stick
I went on a trip to the rain forest of Central America and I needed a walking stick that I could pack in my carry on. I found this one and it delivered! it’s very light, you can adjust the height, it collapses small and packs in it’s own bag. I use it to hike a volcano, I put it inside my backpack and I set it up in 5 minutes before my hike started; I was surprise how strong it is and how well it performs. Excellent purchase! I totally recommend it! and the price it’s unbeatable.

Great walking stick. Lightweight yet strong. Good to dissuade a snake or just balance.

Very practical walking stick.
This folding walking stick is very good. It folds up so you can put it in a bag or carry it in a strap over your shoulder. It took me a few minutes to assemble it. Once I figured it out, it was really very easy. Great when hiking, walking on snow and ice, and good for those bad knee and hip days.

Poor quality
The poles do not stay together once assembled, so it is not even usable as a walking stick. Very disappointing.

A ALAFEN trekking pole seems to be strong and provides support for hiking
I got this stick in black color. Having already watched the assembly video on the product page, it was easy for me to put it together and collapse it for storage/transportation. Yes, there is a bit learning involved, but the benefits are significant. The design allows the stick to be packed up to a compact form. Also, it provides stable support without the telescopic tubes slowly sliding as you are climbing down.I would recommend this product. Note that you are buying one pole. If you need two, make sure to order two.
