Aldingtons Anti Slip Ladder Mat Safety Accessory

I received my anti-slip ladder mat last weekend and have been trying it out for a few days now. It’s a really useful addition in my van - I’ve tried it on concrete, paving stones, and tarmac - both wet and dry, and never felt like it would budge at all. The quality of the mat - it’s made from a flexible heavy duty rubber - is really good. I had a job to do where the ladder would have been on quite soft ground - normally, the ladder would have sunk a foot or so but because the mat distributes weight really well, it was no trouble at all - and saved me having to clean the ladder afterwards! Really happy with the mat - definitely helped my ladder safety!

I needed this mat to stop a ladder slipping on a wooden floor and it does the job. It is quite large so storage considerations are important but it does 'what it says on the tin'. It means I can get into the loft area on my own without having someone else steady the bottom of the ladder.

Bought this to support my ladder on soft ground. It does stop the ladder sinking but because it is soft rubber it doesn't stay rigid so you need to be careful how you place it. I think this is more useful on solid ground.

Received well within time scales quoted. Not put to use at time of posting but quality looks good, although not as heavy as I expected. Had a follow up email from company following delivery checking if all was ok. Nice touch.

4 stars because of the smell of it hope it subsides cannot leave it in a confined area makes you feel sick and heady as it is so overpowering, works a treat though

Good idea for when you using a ladder on your own. The mat creates a good non slip surface to set the ladder upon. Stores easily and seems to be very durable.

Durable after two weeks and does what it is intended for. Very strong smell of rubber for a couple of weeks. Still no wiser about any latex content - assuming it has. No floor marking from mat or ladders (used internally only).

Seems very sturdy, smells a lot, we left the mat outside for the first few weeks
