Silentnight Miracoil Mattress | Firm | Double

Very pleased with purchase, nice comfortable mattress to replace the miracoil I already had. Communication, however, was atrocious. Told it was coming between 7am and 7pm. Got up really early to strip bed and drag mattress onto landing to help the delivery men. Then got an email to say it wasn't coming .Had to drag mattress back and remake bed. A few hours later another email said it was still coming between 7am and 7pm! Stripped bed yet again and moved mattress again. Finally arrived about 1pm! What a fiasco!

Very comfortable mattress, helped me sleep better and longer.

Was a great buy in 2019 and has lasted 5yrs. Really comfortable so looked into replacing with the same and astonished at the price. 5yrs ago we paid £158.30 it seems it was a bargain and well happy to get 5 years from it. Thing is how today can this be £329.00. Inflation has been bad.. but not 100% inflation. Is this price gouging? Certainly cannot afford now

Very prompt, in fact they delivered a day earlier than stated; very polite, pleasant and friendly service. I would add that our address is difficult to locate, being rather remote, but they found us. The delivery men had to negotiate a rather difficult and narrow pathway to our door encumbered by overgrown hedges, a double mattress.The first night's sleep was extremely comfortable; however, we will update in a couple of weeks or so, when it has been assessed for more than one night's exceedingly better sleep than we've had in a long, long time. We're also super glad that it did not arrive rolled up and have to be deflated. It came whole, and ready to lay straight on the bed base.Fits on the base exactly as it should, and was exceedingly well wrapped. It looked awesome when laid on the base. Pristine, and quite elegant.Would highly recommend the services of Panther Group delivery, and Amazon. Beautiful mattress.

Very professional - email confirming mattress arriving the next day - and approx time after 20.30 the previous evening - and an excellent delivery driver phoned approximately 30 min prior to arrival . This replaced a very soft worn out mattress that was quite simply killing my back! I went for this design of Silentnight because it was recommended for side sleepers; soft topper but a firm support from the under mattress. It's not too heavy, I can turn it myself; the handles are extremely useful and save on ripping your fingernails down to the quick because there's nothing to grip on to! It took several weeks to get used to the mattress but now I'm sleeping so well. Thoroughly recommended; excellent quality and craftsmanship.

Not happy at all. The springs are noisy, and there is no edge support, making it uncomfortable to sleep on.

It took me ages to find a good mattress from the description. I've used silentnight night before, many years ago (that's how long it's been since I've replaced my mattress). The mattress i had before was described as medium to firm and it certainly was. It lasted me such a long time.However, it can't last forever so decided on another silent night one but couldn't find the same type.The mattress is a good depth on first view. It looks sturdy and well designed. However, first night i noticed how it was softer than expected. I would describe this as soft to medium rather than medium to firm. You can't feel any springs or anything like that, it's just not firm so a body would sink a little. I wasn't expecting a stone hard mattress but certainly wasn't expecting this.I'm actually going to contact the company to see if I've been sent the correct one. Sadly, the firmness description was not on any of the accompanying paperwork when it was delivered so can't go by much, apart from it being a silent night mattress.Be aware.
