I used it for my dog who had yeast overgrowth on her paws. I like that it’s easy to apply straight out of the package.

Iodine in an easy-to-use package
Povidone iodine, the generic name for Betadine, is a great antiseptic with broad activity and low chance of resistance. I recommend it for first aid kits for all the places I work with. The only problem is that it is extremely messy and likely to stain clothing. Confining it to a wipe like this solves the problem.I keep a box of these around in my first aid kit, and use them regularly. They are a bit more difficult to tear open than alcohol swabs - use the notch on each packet. The pad is thin, but gets the job done.Side note: Not sure why Amazon wanted me to rate the "flavor" of this product, but keep it away from kids that might eat it.

Reasonable self-care...
My son smacked his head on our coffee table and split it open. 3 hours of waiting in an E.R. for a doctor to scrub the wound with iodine wipes and then use an $8 sterile staple gun. Total bill to insurance was almost $1000.Next time, if reasonable, I will use these wipes and an $8 sterile surgical staplegun to fix it myself without the crazy wait and $$.

OK when need in Emergency
Packaging sucks, too hard to open. Small Iodine wipe is a one and done product. If ya need more, ya gotta open another packet. Ordered by mistake.
