Lowa Mountain boots (8.5)

Wanted a pair of Lowa boots for a while but probably like most people couldn't justify their price tag to myself.But was in a position to buy a pair this month as with now working in an animal rescue shelter I could justify their price tag as I'm on my feet all day in and out of kennels, walking dogs for hours and hours, racing around to the office etc so really needed a good solid pair of boots that wouldn't crumble at the first swipe of a paw.These boots are amazing I've had other boots costing half the price from high street outdoor shops and they've last a little while if I'm lucky but these boots are solid great quality boots that justify their price tag.You can feel the quality soon as you get them out the box, and to my surprise I haven't had any blisters or issues while I'm breaking them in and they already feel so comfortable.I'd definitely highly recommend Lowa boots to anyone.

I've worn Lowa Mountain GTX boots for about 14 years in my job as a dog handler.I would never buy or wear anything else.Yes, they're expensive but you get what you pay for.They wear straight from the box, never had a blister and my feet are well looked after in my Lowas.I treat them with Kiwi Parade gloss polish and also treat them with Renapur.The leather turns soft and supple and molds to your feet and ankles.I wear the soles out every eight months and send them away to the Boot Repair Company for resoling. It's pricy but again, quality work, correct soles added and a good service.Don't but loads of pairs of cheap boots and throw them away after a few months, it's false economy. Spend the extra, get Lowa boots and enjoy the comfort and quality.The seller predicted a three to five day service, I got my boots the next day.Great service, great boots.

Just got them out of the box (speedily delivered by Recon (thank you)). The quality is amazing. The leather feels really thick. The whole boot feels rock solid and yet very comfortable. Wearing them in the mud and rain, my feet are warm and dry. Even the laces are thicker/stronger than I am used to. The laces easily undo down to 4 eyelets which makes the boots easy to get on or off. I will be wearing them whilst working on my smallholding. I am a size 12 and the boots fitted perfectly. They may be expensive, but this is how boots should be. Worth every penny. Buy them.

3rd pair I’ve gotten, 4th on the cards ASAP. I wear the soles almost to slicks before the uppers start to give in to the massive amount of use I have give them, and even more abuse. I have been happy if my boots last me 9 to 12 months. I put a lot of miles on them in all conditions and weathers, 15+hrs a day, 6+days a week. On my feet most of the day. Each pair had lasted me around the 18 month mark.I would expect almost everyone else to get yrs of normal used before they had to even think about having to replace them.Will take another boot a lot to make me think about ever think about trying them.ProsDry feet even when in walking about about in flowing water well over the toes of boots.Very comfortable even for long Period ( good sock are a must to).Great grip in almost all weather.Very well made.ConsCost. They aren’t cheap (but you do get what you pay for).Weight. They aren’t very light to wear, until you get used to them.

I’ve had a pair of these boot for a long time and wore them all over the world in different climates and done plenty of rough miles in them and they are the best boots I have ever owned would highly recommend them to everyone. Very comfortable and strong if looked after properly they will last a long time too.

i work in construction and wanted something that is super comfortable and supportive , these hit the nail on the head , they are very solid and robust and have an air of quality about them.never worn such a comfortable boot and iv been through a good number of boots.most standard off the shelf work boots are piss poor and fall apart in months so I was willing to pay the price for these as heard good things. I don't think i have seen one bad review online about these boots ! Personally I think they look the nuts as well which always helps.

Good quality gortex boot.No wearing in needed can wear straight out of the box.Good thick Vibram sole.Good ankle support.My second pair.
