Forget what you may have heard about windows rt. This tablet proves the o's and the platform, I will answer any questions on it as well. This is faster than an equivalent android and does more than an ipad.

I've been playing with the ASUS Vivo tablet for a few hours and I'm seriously impressed. The other reviewers are complaining about Amazon's marketing which I think is harsh and a poor reflection on this brilliant tablet. I have the NVIDIA Tegra version, and it is very fast indeed. My wife has an ASUS Transformer Prime running Android with the same Tegra chipset, and my biggest complaints with the Prime are the poor wifi, the lack of flash support and general glitches which I'd blamed on the processor. Not so with the Vivo. It is lightening quick and very smooth. WiFi works great, and BBC news streamed no problems with PC quality. I installed Windows 8 on a 7-year old cube PC just over a week ago and the speed difference over XP is huge. Microsoft for all their faults appear to have got this right. I'm now hoping that Google will improve Android to the same level. I highly recommend this product.

the reason is that this type of tablet did not accept any other applications like chrome ecc... this make it a bit ...

I have also not received the keyboard. The previous negative review because of this issue came up a day after I ordered it, bad timing I guess.The tablet itself is definitely great, it's miles ahead of the MS surface in terms of speed and responsiveness. Screen is beautiful and bright etc.And I have bought this fully aware I'm looking at Windows RT, not Windows 8, especially since none of the other versions are actually out yet, so people need to stop complaining about little typos in the description, like "Windows 8 RT".However, the keyboard accessory was a major reason why I ordered this tab, as productivity is important for me and if I wanted to use a touch-only device, I would be content with just my smart phone.Amazon support just told me that I won't be getting the missing keyboard and I have to send the item back for a full refund...Wasted a lot of time this way, annoyed the hell out of me.

I ordered the Asus Vivo RT 11,6 tablet and key board from Amazon however, I was disappointed to find that the key board listed in the description and on invoice is not provided.After calling Amazon to query this I was told it was an error and they would send me out another tablet - this duly arrived but this is also without a keyboard. Amazon have now asked me to return the second tablet - Amazon tell me they have withdrawn this product from their website whilst they review it's details, however I have just gone on line and found the company is still advertising it - very disappointed with service and resolution on matter!

This is an excellent tablet and more portable than the Surface. It is super thin and light in weight. It is slightly shorter in width than the Surface. 10.1" vs 10.6".This tablet also has gps, nfc, 8mpx camera, flash, 1080p video recording - all of which the Surface hasn't.Thinner and lighter than Surface. I had the Surface and although it is a lovely tablet also, I found it too heavy so returned it and got the Vivo Tab RT instead.Highly recommended!Btw the reviews are supposed to be about the product and not the service by Amazon, so pay no attention to the low star reviews.

Zero stars not an option. As with others, I was duped into buying the Asus including keyboard, but no keyboard arrived. Amazon should stick to selling books. I won't be buying anything else in future. Off to post office now to send it back! What fun.

As with all the previous reviews I also didn't receive the stated keyboard. The tablet itself is not a bad little bit of kit, I understood it was RT one. The thing that bugged me was the lack of any form of empathy/help from the amazon "customer service" person. Would not answer my questions and just kept repeating I could either send back the tablet, for a refund or take a partial refund for the keyboard, after ten minutes going round in circles gave up and accepted the partial refund. Never had a problem with Amazon before but this has put me off buying anything from them after many years of being a customer, bad show Amazon
