I Initially bought these NewHail 120mm fans to cool my T-mobile Internet gateway since it was always very warm on top. I placed the fan at the bottom to blow cool air up, through and out the top and the fan did a great job of that. Gateway was no longer warm on top but very cool.T-mobile internet did not work out (no fault to the fans) so I went back to crap-cast for Internet. I now have these fans sitting under my cable modem and keeps it very cool. I liked it so much that I bought more and have my router and Roku sitting on one keeping them cool as well.Is this necessary and an over kill? Probably but at least the cable modem, router and Roku are cool to the touch now. :)I have them set on medium speed and can't even hear them running when my computer is on. With my computer off and in a completely quite room, I can barely hear them 3-4 feet away from me.They have rubber feet on both sides so can be positioned on either side and no vibration sounds.Everyone's ears and tolerance is different but for me, these work great!

I use these for a reptile egg incubator. Not the typical use, but these are great. They do not produce heat from the motor. Very quiet also.

These fans might be just as good or almost as good as the AC Infinity brand but I did originally leave a one-star review because shortly after the return window closed, I had problems with one of the two fans. One of the two has a bearing going bad and makes a terrible noise so it's unfortunately garbage. The other fan has been working fine 24/7 and show us no indication of having anything wrong with it. The reason I changed my review rating from 1 to 5 stars was simply because the seller reached out to me after the return window was closed and offered a refund. I wish more companies were proactive like this. I would have actually contacted them before writing the review but I didn't want to deal with returning the single fan and having to remove the second fan so I could return them both and get a new two pack. I really appreciate the seller reaching out to me and offering the refund and will likely pick up another two pack in the future if I need them. Worth a try but if you do have a problem I'd suggest reaching out to the seller if it's past the return window. Maybe I was just unlucky and got a bad one. They're ultra quiet like the AC Infinity fans, use almost no electricity, and keep my equipment significantly cooler.I'll come back and update this review again if I have any issues with the one that's still working fine.

Edit: Sep 13. Updated ton5 stars. Been using these for a while now. One is attached to a side-mounted laptop holder. I have it blowing air through the vents to supplement the laptop cooling. It's still really quiet and is doing a great job.The other is supplemental cooling for a PS5 that's in an entertainment center cubby. It's doing a good job as well.Item described as new when purchased. What I received was obviously a return. The fans were not packaged correctly and it was missing the USB splitter.Update: Just received the replacement set of fans. All components in the box, factory packed, and clean. Plugged them in to test and they seem to work well. They are whisper quiet right now.Leaving 4 stars as I want to wait to see if they will last in their intended use case. But, I'm sure they'll be fine.

Worked for keeping mini-amplifiers cool. I ordered 2x for my 4x fosi amplifiers. I am using medium speed. Nice to have USB splitter included so I didn't need a USB hub or multiple plugins. Love that they have rubber feet on top (amplifier) and bottom (shelf) Better price than other "name-brand" fans.

I can’t believe how picky fan buyers are… “They’re not silent” “They’re USB” “They don’t move enough air” and on and on.Listen folks, the description is accurate. If you didn’t want what it says, then why did you buy it? Some people just have to complain. These are excellent. They are almost inaudible on low, a tiny amount of sound on medium, and still very quiet on high. I could easily whisper over them on high.I’m using these on a microgreen rack that’s unfortunately in my living room for lack of space. Even on high these will be plenty quiet to not notice. They don’t get quieter than this… moving air happens to make sound. If you want 100% silent, don’t buy a fan. If you want mass amounts of air, get earplugs. If you want an AC wall plug, buy one with an AC wall plug. People.

I believe they use same motor and everything but all of ac infinity fans rattled at high setting. This does not rattle. Highly recommend this.

Using this pair of fans as an intake and outake for a lizard tank. They are hooked up to a switch controlled by a humidity monitor. They are so quite I can only hear them at night and I have to keep them on low because of how much air they move. Phenomenal.

our Modem/Router box from our Internet/TV supplier gets really hot. So I looked for something to combat that heat. This works perfectly. Instead of hot air coming off our Modem/Router box, there is a nice cool breeze thanks to the fan. I recommend you get one if you have a Modem/Router - put your hand on yours and see how hot they get, you could almost cook an egg ! We started unplugging ours at night I am paranoid about that thing being on at night.

I like the fact that these fans include metal grills front and back as well as rubber stand-off feet. This allows the fans to be laid horizontally on a flat surface and still blow air upwards. One fan moves enough air to cool my cable modem when I placed it inside a home built wire-screen Faraday cage.It's nice that they provide an Off-Lo-Mid-Hi speed control, but I predict that most users will run these things at high speed. You can barely hear them, even on high.

Put this on top of my cable box to cool it down, keeps it cool, much longer life that way
