Bought a C6 Vette and started to get a system in read 6.5 or 6x9 go in the doors. Once I popped the doors apart seen a huge speaker and went 10's can fit in there cool! Lol. Looked around for the least deepest sub and DS18 seemed to be the ones. Bought one to try easy peasie just make a template to match the mounting screws and wow so happy. Sound great surprisely great! Specially being the doors. Lots of room. Bought another for passenger side to finish the job.

For the money, this sub has no business being this good. I’ve had systems my whole life and this sub rocks. I put 2-10” dvc 4 ohm speakers in parallel and drive them with a mono block amp at 1 ohm with 1000 watts rms. They take it all and feel like they could take more power. The sound is tight and clean. I put them under the backseat of my truck and now wonder what they would sound like in a larger box. But I’m limited on space, which is why I went with a shallow mount. They look great and I wish I could have them out to see them more often. I just wanted something to listen to, but now my neighbors can hear me coming so I have to turn it down a block before I get home. Will update if anything goes wrong. Im still breaking them in. So far, Im loving these speakers.

Purchased because I wanted to try something as to what I thought was better than my older rockford that was on the way out. Finally after almost a week I get this sub and upon opening the package i noticed the subwoofer was extremely dirty despite coming in original packaging and cars board, the basket was scratched along with the stickers that are normally on the back of the magnet displaying what size modle ect. I still wired it up and also installed a brand new ds18 amplifier as well. When I finally got everything wired up blue tight comes on, on the amp no sound from the sub. Checked all my connections and then tested the amp to verify it wasn't a fault there which everything worked. Pulled the sub out of the box and with a multi meter and found the voice coil to be dead. Ill never purchase another one of these again

Sounds good hits nicely works best with drum n bass or rap and hip hop if your looking for a sub that works good with heavier stuff like metal the sub dosent respond well with triple kicks
